A slight learning curve, but worth it!
Hair type: Fine, thin, wavyMy first mistake was approaching this like I would with a curling iron. Instead of starting at the top, start from the bottom and roll up away from the face. However, after getting the hang of it, this left my hair with less frizz and shiny. It also eliminated the extra step of having to blow dry my hair completely before styling. It usually takes me about 40 minutes to dry and style my hair, but with this, I am able to do all that in less than 20 min.Tips:- Start with towel dry or slightly damp hair- Briefly dry your roots before using- After styling, use hair oil to prevent damage and tame frizz

It works!!!
I love this dryer/brush. I have a Lâange and a Mane – both more expensive than this Revlon and the Revlon blows them out of the water. The barrel size is perfect to add a little curl and body. And, it gets SO hot I canât even touch my hair. Those with lots of thick hair know that some of these dryer brushes donât have enough heat to actually dry our hair. I usually have to use a regular dryer to dry my roots first otherwise it will take forever with some of these brushes. This Revlon gets it done in no time. Love it and highly recommend.

Great for curling
I had a thicker brush from Revlon and I couldn’t get my hair to curl with it when I was blowing out. This thinner attachment is much better at it, and my hair looks great when I’m done! It’s very very loud though.

Blowout for medium length with layers
Works well at giving the blowout look. I recently got layers cut in my hair and wanted to be able to achieve a blowout look easily. Iâve never been one to blow dry my hair; Iâve always air dried at night and then styled in the morning with a curling iron since Iâve always hated how long the process of doing my hair was if I blow dried then styled separately. But this tool made it very quick. I have thick hair and did let it air dry to about 80% before using it, and it took me about 20 minutes on the low setting. I think once I get the hang of it a little more itâll be quicker. So far Iâm happy with the purchase and results.

Great Design, But Too Hot to Handle
I really like the designâit’s easy to use and the concept is great. But the heat levels are a big issue. Even on the low setting, it gets dangerously hot, and Iâve had to switch to the cool setting often just to avoid burning myself. To switch it, I have to take it off the hair first. The high setting? Iâm too nervous to even try it.The cool air is truly cool, which unfortunately means it’s not warm enough to be effective either. Iâm going to give it another shot while wearing heat-resistant gloves, but honestly, the extreme heat makes this nearly unusable.

Great for thinner hair
So glad I found a blow dryer with a smaller barrel. I have the larger one as well and always wished there was a smaller one. My hair is medium/long length (past my shoulders) and super thin. Itâs not too heavy to hold. There are different settings, Cool, Low (which I use) and high. Yes, the high position is loud but that doesnât bother me. The high heat is too warm for my thin hair. This product gives me lots of volume.After I wash my hair I use Moroccan Oil Volumizing Mousse (love their amazing smelling products) comb my hair and then use my new blow dryer.

I have been looking for a replacement for my blow dryer/brush. I was a little worried about trying something new but I was not disappointed with this purchase. I have fine, chin length hair and it gives me a smooth blowout. It is easy to use and eliminates the need for a separate blow dryer and round brush. I have shoulder problems so this was an ideal choice.

Loud but worth it.
Is it loud? Yes, absolutely. That is the reason for 4 stars. Is it hot? Well duh, I want it to dry my hair so yes itâs hot. Just use common sense when using this dryer. The before & after pictures Iâm posting with this review are literally 5 minutes apart. I just wanted to try it really quick. My hair was completely dry. But please look at the volume I got in just a couple of minutes. I can just imagine how great it will work when I spent the proper amount of time on my hair. I already have the larger revlon version and love that one too. It dries and straightens my hair very quickly. I wanted this one for a little more curl and as you can see, mission accomplished. Oh and the price wasnât too bad either!

This brush is bigger than I expected as it seems smaller in the listing photo, but all these brushes seem to be huge for some reason. The good thing about this brush is that although the handle is large, the brush itself is a sensible usable size. I am replacing an existing hair dryer brush as it is just so big that I have no control when I dry my hair. That is not the case with this brush. The controls are simple to use and I can style my hair as well as drying it using this brush, and I am happy to recommend it.Edit: 22/9 Believe me when I say I am a 5 minute and go hair styler!! and having used this brush regularly for some time now, I can honestly say I get the same results my hairdresser does when she blow dries my hair. I have total control. I section my hair off with clips, dry a clump, chuck it in a velcro roller and by the time I’ve done my whole head and got dressed, I take the rollers out and my hair looks great and I rarely need to use the tongs on my hair so my hair feels in better condition. This has made such a difference to me that I am buying one of these brush dryers for my daughter and daughter in law at Christmas. A real game changer too is using a vented hair brush, I now have a natural static free hair style and I would recommend you get one of those to use with this brush dryer. I doubt you will be disappointed with the results.
