My machine does not leak. The water in the used pod tray is from ejecting the pods. It is water tight when making expresso.

Well made and makes great lattes
This is a very well-made Nespresso original pod coffee maker. I’ve used it every day for the last year and it continues to work flawlessly. I like the size and water capacity, which makes 4 16 ounce cups when filled. The coffee temperature is perfect. I also have the milk frother, which works well too. Cleanup is easier than my original Nespresso machine because of the way the pod catcher is designed with a large grid in the bottom.

Best coffee maker ever
When our Nespresso Latissima finally died after several years of serving us well, we bought a superautomatic espresso machine. I didnât know it is not recommended to use dark beans in such a machine, and that is my coffee of choice. I tried several medium roasts across a wide price range but nothing came close to the heavenly flavor of my Nespresso pods. As my husband was very pleased with his fancy new machine, I decided to get this CitiZ machine and am so glad I did. Now I can make my own espresso or delicious lungo coffee so easily. Presently, we still froth my milk in the big machine, but I plan to get a separate frother eventually so we can both be making our coffees at the same time. I thoroughly recommend this machine, it does a great job, looks good, and doesnât take up much space on the kitchen counter. All for a not too bad price.

I have this in the house for my family and friends who come over to drink coffee and they all absolutely rave about it, whether they have a regular cup of coffee or an espresso or ristretto. It does it all and everyone is pleased.

Great machine for your Nespresso pods
We love the machine and doesn’t take much counter space. The integrated milk frother is a nice plus and that part is easy to clean. The coffee machine portion you will need to use a descalar and run water for cleaning. Overall, looks great, doesn’t take much counter space, and makes very good coffee. The only thing we did not like was the super thick power cord that wasn’t very flexible. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Better than Starbucks
This Nespresso coffee machine is a game changer! You can make quality coffee so fast and easy and the taste is on point. I saw my friends and she had a newer version with the larger pods but after doing some research I decided on going with this machine because the long term expense would be less because the original pods are much cheaper than the newer version ones are (the cost will definitely add up if you drink coffee regularly. Nespresso has a patent on the newer version so you canât buy third party pods where you can with the original machines. You can also purchase tea pods to brew and also some metal cups with disposable sticky lid toppers so you can add your own ground coffee or tea leaves. The milk frother is fast and makes a great froth but hot and cold quick. This is definitely a luxury product.What I think could be better with this machine is that the temperature of the coffee it makes could be hotter.

The CITIZ Nespresso by DÄLonghi makes a wonderful, creamy espresso!
I bought the CITIZ DÄLonghi Nespresso machine. I did a lot of research before i made my decision to buy either a DÄLonghi or a Breville. All of the positive reviews tended to be for the DÄLonghi and DÄLonghi has been making the machine longer, soâ¦I chose the CITIZ machine because it uses the OriginalLine pods and are a little less expensive than the VertuøLine. (all are recyclable). A prepaid postage plastic bag can be ordered free of charge from Nespresso to return the aluminum pods to a recycling plant. There is a video on the Nespresso website explaining the recycling process. I wouldnât buy the Keurig coffee maker because their pods are plastic and are not recyclable. So glad I because the creamy foam the CITIZ makes is delicious.The CITIZ makes a wonderful espresso with a rich foamy creme that lasts for the entire latte. I could have bought the milk steamer along with the CITIZ but chose not to and now I regret not purchasing it as I make lattes and the steamed almond milk would really be nice to have. Oh well. There is a small container in the CITIZ that collects the pods which makes it easy to dump the pods into the plastic recycle bag. The container which collects the pods fortunately has about 1/2 â at the bottom to collect coffee that drips out of the machine. I wouldnât let more than 6 pods collect as the container might overflow. There have been reviews that this machine is rather noisy but itâs not any noisier than my former Senseo espresso machine. Not that noisy in my opinion. The water heats up in apprx 20-25 secs. I would have a cup underneath the spout when pressing the button to turn on the machine, as one time in the middle of heating the water, it started making the espresso! Donât know what happened but hasnât happened since, but i always have a cup under the spout before turning it on.I did buy some 3rd party pods that are advertised as Nespresso compatible, but the pods i bought are plastic, a little smaller and the coffee was inferior compared to Nespressoâs coffee. I think its worth the few extra pennies for the Nespresso pods. I like a milder espresso and have found that for me, the Pure Origin Rosabaya de Columbia is the best tasting for me and the Caramelito, A caramel flavored coffee that is very good. There are also decaffeinated espresso pods.I love this machine and I would and have recommended it wholeheartedly.

Citiz D is not what it used to be
We purchased this machine in April (Citiz D model D113) and it leaked, so we had it replaced without any issue.The second machine with 3 months would only give us less than one ounce shot in both the Lungo and Espresso mode. We descaled the machine as recommended, did a soft restart and the factory default reset. Nothing worked. Contacted customer support again and went thru the above-mentioned troubleshooting guide with the representative and no results. We were sent another machine. This machine after 2 months is doing the exact same thing as the 2nd machine.I should note we had this model prior to buying and or replacing these for almost 8 years until it finally wore out.
