Impressive capabilities – especially for the price
I’ve been wearing/using this now for most of the week and I’m more impressed with it than I thought I would be.I have been a Fitbit user and fan since they introduced them back in the day. In recent memory I’ve had a Charge 5 that I then upgraded to a Charge 6. I’ve also been a user and fan of Oura (gen 3). This Amazfit Bip 6 is right up with those offerings and comes in at price point that is much better. As a Fitbit Charge user I was concerned about the size of this. I liked the small size of the Charge and this is much larger. That said, it is lighter than I expected it would be and the size hasn’t been something that has annoyed me.Next best thing I like: the insight into sleep details. Out of the box and with no extra subscription I’m getting plenty of details about my sleep. It covers what I mostly cared about from my Oura subscription and I’m finding the detail and ability to detect naps equal or generally better than what I’ve been getting from my Fitbit Charge. I can’t say the two are 100% in agreement on the outcome of my sleep though. They’re at least similar though.Setup was pretty easy and pretty much the same as any Bluetooth setup you’ll do. I didn’t like the initial/default watch face but there are literally hundreds to choose from – many of which will cost you a few bucks more. I tried a bunch and eventually landed on the one you see in the photo. That came with a small in-app charge. But, it’s better suited to my eyesight without any glasses on. ;-)Step count on this device is overly strict in my opinion. As long as you are on an actual walk and swinging your arms it’s gonna do just fine. But somehow Fitbit factors in whatever activity you’re doing (in and around the house) and adds it to your step count. Generally, I’m finding that as I wear both devices at the same time I earn more steps just being active around the house with Fitbit. It can easily be by a factor of 2x if not more. I’m not saying it’s not accurate but that with the Amazfit you have to be ‘walking’ just the right way. I have not found a way to calibrate the Bip 6.With GPS on for a logged ‘walk’ it did just fine. And not only that, after setting it up with its connection to Stava, it uploaded there too. And the GPS accurately captured my walk.

Expensive features at a good price.
Runs smoothly especially when considering the value, has a ton more useful features than I expected.I actually have been using quite a few of them.lets you set cadence parameters works great for running, does Auto updates while you are running ( average pace, heart rate, energy level….) you can set it for multiple distances.monitors sleep well and gives good updates, and lets you set sleep reminders I have actually been sleeping better while using this watch, waking up excited to look at my stats 😂.Being able to reply to text is a definite bonus as iv been trying not to look at my phone as much, the voice to text is very accurate, it also lets you add up to 50 people to favored contacts for phone calls wich is way more than I need on a watch.I have been using heavy for 5 days tracking my walking, running, and weight lifting all in the same day minus weights on one of the days. And am at 24% at mid day, I’m expecting it matches spec at 6 days heavy use, but wouldn’t be surprised if it lasted 8-10 days by the next charge, as everyone has a tendency to play with new devices a lot when they first get them, and I sure did.Zepp app is set up nicely and will probably use the coach in the near future as I need to do more interval training.Fits my 7.5 inch wrist just fine with more room. All in all works better than expected, the features are better than expected, and has a unfading style “looks good”.

Just buy it and thank yourself later
Simply put, this watch offers a ton of great features at a budget price, and does it at the same level as Samsung, Huawei, and other flagship brands. It does this while still somehow maintaining battery life between 7-14 days. My first ever smartwatch was the Amazfit Bip which had some good features and battery life, but still left a lot to be desired(The app on the phone was garbage, and watch faces were very blah). Since then I have had garmin, samsung galaxy, and Huawei brand watches that were all great but expensive and battery life was garbage. I decided to try the new Bip 6 to replace my Samsung galaxy 5 and I’m so glad that I did. I bought it for $70 and have been using it for about 4 weeks now. Here are the best things about it IMHO:- BATTERY LIFE! – I’m getting an average of 9 days before I have to charge it. I do NOT have the always on display, and the watch faces I use are pretty simple(see attached pictures), but I do use the workout, heart rate(polls every minute), Blood oxygen, and sleep tracking capabilities pretty heavily.- Accuracy – The accuracy of the workouts(GPS), sleep tracking, and heart rate seem pretty accurate. When working out and comparing the heart rate data of the watch and a polar chest strap monitor that I have, the Bip has a difference of about 10 BMP lower for the first few minutes, and then pretty much aligns with the data from the chest strap after the first few minutes.- Phone App – The Zepp app is leaps and bounds better than what it used to be. There is so much data, and information about that data. I actually like it a lot better than the Samsung Fit app.- Screen & Watch Faces – The Oled screen is so clear, and there are a ton of great/free watch faces.Overall, I would not think twice about getting this watch again. Don’t think about it, just buy it and thank yourself later 😉

Superb watch which is light, thin and fulfills all ur needs!!! I am fitness freak so it suffice all my goals and needs. There are lots of features of taking calls and notification as required, but i keep them to minimal! The app works smooth on apple IOS ! And started using the premium membership to unlock the other perks on the app! My main goal is fitness so let see how it goes for me! The premium membership is a 14 days trail , so will know how useful it is!

Buy this one.Don’t throw away $20-$30 on an “el-cheapo” Smartwatche. Pony up a little bit more cash and buy this one. This smart watch packs enough features and quality of life assistive services at the right price point, that it makes a perfect entry point to Smartwatches. It looks great, runs fast and smooth, screen is huge so it doesn’t look “dainty” on a larger wrist. Uses standard 22mm lugs on the wrist band/strap so you can swap out to whatever different band you want.Allows you to choose from a large selection of watch faces (90+% are free, very few can be purchased, although the free ones look better in my opinion). The initial functionality of the watch did change from when I opened it and began using it.It had some features that I guess were removed or modified through a software update once it connected to the Internet through my phone. (App Gridview ala Apple Watch App Gridview, was removed after the system software was updated. I quite liked the look of it.)
