Poor quality basket (Updated)
Got it in the mail recently. The products are as described but the basket was in terrible shape, a handle had fallen off which revealed a nail that could of been dangerous to anyone who grabbed it the wrong way, the ridges weren’t even, and it was all stapled together making the whole thing look like it was made by a child. The products inside seem to be in good shape, sadly it looks like I’ll have to go shopping for a basket now because this is not presentable currently as a Christmas present.Update: Well Christmas has passed, I found a better basket that fit well with the products so it all worked out I suppose. I’m raising my review from a 2 stars to a 3 stars because my Mom really enjoyed the basket items, even if the basket itself was in poor shape. I was emailed by STAR DEALS INC asking me to “find it in your heart” to leave a good review. I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t even apologize for the basket issues I had, but the email looked like something they’d send to anyone who bought their gift basket, so I doubt they even knew about my issue. Looking at other reviews it seems multiple people had the same problem, so even if the baskets broke due to shipping, they were poor quality to begin with. If you’re buying something, especially a gift for someone else, you’d hope the quality of the item is in well enough shape that it doesn’t fall apart before even getting to the one receiving it.So my review for this item is that the bath and body products are great gifts, but I would be weary buying this if you’re getting it for someone else, otherwise you’re gambling if you’re going to give a broken gift, or go out and buy a better container for those items.
