I’ve been reading a lot about rosemary oil for hair growth, so I’ve been trying a few brands and decided to try the Socatfot Rosemary Oil. Right off the bat the product description on the web page says it is cold pressed and the bottle states it’s steam distilled. Cold-pressed and steam-distilled essential oils are extracted using different methods. That drops the trust level for me. Anyhow, the 2-60ml glass bottles are a standard dark amber, which is good for preserving the oil’s quality. They come with droppers for acturate dispensing. The oil has a strong, herbal scent, characteristic of rosemary, which I personally find pleasant. I’ve been using it diluted with a carrier oil, like castor or jojoba, and massaging it into my scalp a few times a week. I’ve also added a few drops to my conditioner. It’s difficult to say conclusively whether it’s significantly boosted my hair growth in the short time I’ve been using it, but I have noticed a slight improvement in scalp health and a reduction in dryness. I’ve also used it on my eyebrows with the included brush, though with extreme caution to avoid getting it in my eyes, and the brows seem to be a bit thicker, but that could be added body from the oil and not new growth. I appreciate the versatility of the oil, as it can be used for various purposes, from hair and skin care to aromatherapy and DIY projects. The package states that it is therapeutic grade. If you’re looking for a decent quality therapeutic-grade rosemary oil you might explore this brand. Itâs a good starting point for trying rosemary oil.
