It’s temporary [UPDATED]
Beautiful, well designed massager. Amazing battery life… then suddenly, not so. Probably only had to charge it four times in a year and a half. Then suddenly the charge plummeted to six and a half minutes. Now several days later it won’t even turn on. I bought this a year and a half ago for $200. Expected it to last longer than that for that price. Read more reviews on this as it’s a known problem with the company. When I contacted customer support on the issue I was also offered a 25% coupon. Guess they don’t stand behind their products for a reason.— updated ———I spoke too soon. Turns out they do stand behind their products. After reaching out to their customer service group, they offered to replace the unit. When they sent the new gun they recommended I charge it every 2-4 months to keep the battery fresh. Even though we use the massage gun regularly, we don’t use it enough to drain the battery. It’s so good we probably only charged it 3-4 times in the year and a half that we owned it. I recommend you charge it every 2-4 months… and buy the extended warranty.

Update: 2/28 – Based on my review, Opove contacted me very promptly with options to remedy the issue I’ve described below. I appreciate the patience of the customer service agent and that Opove was willing to fully stand by their product. I am updating my review to reflect this; my rating is based on my experience using the massage gun and the fact that Opove fully addressed the issue I experienced. I would confidently buy from this seller again.I began using this product in July of 2022, so just over 6 months ago at the time of writing.It worked very well for me in the few times that I used it during those 6 months, primarily for relieving shoulder pain. I never timed it, but I’d estimate that the battery could last about 50 minutes at the highest setting. That’s pretty impressive in my opinion.Despite this, I can’t recommend anyone purchase it. I charged the massage gun this morning after using it a few days ago. After about 6 hours on the charger, it was only showing a charge of 2 out of 3 bars. I tried to turn it on and it vibrated for about 15 seconds, then abruptly turned off. I tried toggling the on/off switch, but it no longer turns on or charges in any capacity.I can accept that a product like this will break down eventually. At this price, I expect it to withstand much more than 6 months of occasional use.

I have bought this on the recommendation of a fellow runner and a running coach as well as positive reviews on Amazon. I have been considering purchasing a massage gun for many months to help aid recovery from long runs and cycling in combination with stretching and foam rolling.Being of the age where I am getting more injury prone, I was finding the stretching and rolling was not always getting to the spots that needed targeting. On recommendation I bought the massage gun. This gun looks really great, I love the red camouflage. It is quite heavy but no heavier than some hairdryers. It has 4 attachments and has 3 levels of intensity for massage.There is a booklet that comes with the product and it shows by diagrams and explanations of the trigger points to use and also which attachments to use. I have used all the attachments for my massage, as it explains some is for widespread muscle mass, the other is for specific pin pointed massage and the prong for the spine area.So far I have only needed to use the first frequency which is powerful, but no doubt will use the higher ones if there is more tightness and knots especially after a long run.The product is very good quality and it arrived with a full charge. I don’t expect to need to charge the battery that often as I only need to use it 10 mins at a time.This product is going to help me save money by avoiding the need for so many sports massages when training for long distance events. I will still need to see my osteopath occasionally for musculoskeletal issues of the spine. The massage gun can help but does not resolve skeletal issues, but it does help with muscle tightness.The price of the equipment is expensive, but in comparison to other massage guns of the same quality it is more cost effective than some others, and I got a discount of £20 on offer from amazon.In terms of easy to use. It is easy for me as a small female with small hands. It is easy to change the attachments and battery and easy to use one handed on body and limbs. Some areas of the back may require a second person, only due to dexterity and for the muscle which need to be relaxed on use. I did not find the weight of the gun an issue and the noise level is very quiet for what it is.

Initially very powerful, and responsive, but ultimately defective. This product steadily declined in performance and then stopped fully charging. The battery would also deplete very quickly when used.

Haben uns die Pistole vor fast einem Jahr gekauft und das Teil ist brutal gut.Die Pistole wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet (kostet aber halt auch ein bisschen was) und hat in der ganzen Zeit nicht einmal “gemuckt”. Der Akku hält mit einer vollen Ladung m.M.n. recht lange ohne, dass man in irgendeiner Art und Weise auf Funktion verzichten müsste. Ich meine damit, dass man auch auf der dritten und höchsten Stufe der Pistole recht lange massieren kann ohne das Gefühl zu haben, dass man jetzt eh gleich wieder aufladen muss.Das aller aller aller aller geilste ist aber die Form. Es gibt viele Pistolen bei denen die Pistole zum Griff in einem 90Grad Winkel angebracht ist – hier nicht. Hier ist der Winkel etwas kleiner was den absolut super Vorteil hat, dass, wenn man mal etwas fester drücken mag, man das Gefühlt hat, dass die aufgewendete Kraft direkt durch die Pistole in die zu massierende Stelle geht. Bei einem 90Grad “Winkel-Griff-Verhältnis” ist das m.M.n. nicht ganz so einfach und man hat das Gefühl, dass es schnell zu “anstrengend” wird.Das einzige was mir wirklich aufgefallen ist, dass sich mittlerweile etwas Staub in dem “Fenster” angesammelt hat – nicht viel, aber etwas. Bisher hat sich das aber m.M.n. nicht negativ ausgewirkt und ist denke ich einfach auch eine normale Gebrauchserscheinung.Alles in allem ein super Ding!
