Works and a good selection
My Setup:Espresso Maker: Bambino PlusPortafilter size: 54mm (stock and a bottomless portafilter)Build Quality: Good.WDT – extremely thin pinned which is expected since you need to stir the grounds.Dosing funnel – works well enough. You can’t use a tamper with it on there but i guess you don’t need to.Puck Screen – Thick (1.7mm) so make sure you adjust your grounds well enough.Overall, good and makes it easier to assembly/tamp everything down. Happy with the whole purchase and not too badly priced.

Weiss Distribution Technique tools are decidedly simple things that are hard to mess up, so I’m looking for what elevates them beyond holding a few tiny needles to swish around your coffee grounds. The one included in this kit is made from machined aluminum and has a matching base. It’s a pretty attractive little stack and I like the rounded and knurled knob. Feels pretty good in the hand, and is fairly light, but feels like solid metal. This base isn’t self-cleaning like some, as it’s just hollow, but not a big deal as it’s always best to clean critical coffee components diligently. This is a 7 hole design with 6 around a center point. The spread is fixed but you can obviously use any configuration you like. I personally am fine with the stock use of all 7 holes. While I personally cannot find the need to change the tips of my needles from flat to sharp, I’m certainly not going to fault them for including a set of both.The puck works well, but is definitely one of the thicker designs. This will come down completely to your setup and technique. Don’t really care for the text on it, but that’s a nitpick.The dosing funnel is a problem for the way I use the funnel. I am not going to knock major points because this is partially personal preference. The magnet is adequate for my portafilter. It stays on upside down and with a light shake. It’s the same machined aluminum as the WDT tool, but even lighter. And it’s too light for my portafilter to rest flat on the grates under the grinder. My solid steel ring allows me to grind directly into the basket hands free because of the weight — the weight and my biggest criticism: the wall angle and width. It’s taller than the stainless steel funnel I’ve been using for years, but it’s not nearly as wide. It does not funnel as well. It’s too narrow to catch the coffee directly from my grinder when resting on the grate. And this may never been an issue for you if you dose from a cup or other container.The quality and the price are there. But as with most things in coffee, there are just so many preferences and considerations and it’s almost impossible to factor them all in.

Quality Product with Flexible Options
I got the 53.3mm version of this KitchenTour Espresso Accessories Kit for use with our Breville Barista Express. We have several years experience with home espresso machines and are quite picky with our coffee. That being the basis for my review and 5 stars.The dosing funnel works perfectly and is very helpful.The puck filter works well but does feel a bit thick to me, I don’t have a way to measure it but it feels closer to 2mm but i don’t feel like it has any negative effect.The WDT tool itself is good and I like the fact they included extra needles and that you can choose how many to use as well as in what configuration. I personally like to put 5 needles around the outside and leave the center needle off. This works well for me.

It’s the proper size
I primarily purchased this kit for the dosing funnel. It fits my basket and the magnets hold well. The screen and WDT were nice tools to get with it. If you need this size, the I’d recommended it.

Mediocre WDT tool
This is a mediocre WDT tool. The style and design look great, but its functionality is so so. I’ve used better. I really liked that they included extra needles with the set though. The black guard worked out really well and fit my 53mm portafilter basket. The magnets on the guard worked perfectly! The screen was a little too big for my portafilter though by a hair’s breath.
