Do not buy!
We enjoy the craft side of this coffee machine. We have had major issues with the pod side. Each time we use it, since the first time, it overflows and grounds get all in the cup of coffee and also all in and around the machine. It is a pain to clean the grounds out of the machine because no parts come out to clean, you just have to wipe inside and around until all the grounds are gone, this is very time consuming. Also when I contacted Cuisinart customer service I do not think their return policy is fair. They want me to cut the cord to the machine, take a picture of this, send back the machine and then wait 2 weeks for the replacement, therefore we would be without a coffee pot for two weeks because they sell a faulty product? If I have to go out and get a new coffee pot Iâm going to buy a new one and not waste 200$ on one that doesnât work well. I asked if they could charge me for the new one, ship it and then refund me when they get my broken one back, so we can use the craft side in the mean time, so we donât have to be without one. They told me no, and I will have to go without and wait for the replacement. Seems strange, I asked why they operate this way and they responded, âwe have alot of fraud and donât trust customers to return the productsâ. Well welcome to the world, everyone deals with fraud, unfortunately part of owning a company is making the customer happy and standing behind your product. Very disappointed in this company and the product quality. Do not buy this machine!

Works great, looks great
So far everything works perfectly, Iâve tested the cup and timer for the carafe, all works good. Iâm a 2nd time Cuisinart coffee duo user. I had my first one for approximately 10yrs, the heating element for the carafe finally went. One thing i learned early on with my first one that in the beginning exploded the pods like many others have had the experience, I push the pods down until the bottom needle pokes it then I put the top down on it, it worked for 10 years and is worth a try. ⦠however so far I havenât had to do that with this one. It is a step down from what we had but I love it. Looks good on my counter and all. So I have nothing negative to say. If your pods explode try pushing it all the way down then put lid down itâs worked for me in the past. This one Iâve not had to do that. I just got it yesterday and so far has exceeded my expectations especially in kcup area.

Great coffee maker. We’ve had it now for a few months. It’s easy to clean. Love the brewing capacity. Can’t go wrong with white. We like that it has an auto shut off, so whoever is last can still have hot coffee.

Cracked carafe upon delivery
I like the coffee maker very much but….. The carafe arrived with a very small crack in it. I registered the product with the manufacture to take advantage of the warranty. I called Cuisinart to try to get a replacement and was told the damage may have been done in transit and I would have to contact Amazon. Amazon’s remedy is to return the entire machine and they would send a replacement machine. All I need is a new carafe and can’t get it from Amazon or Cuisinart apparently! I’ll have to use the carafe from my old Cuisinart that this one was to replace. I have to believe this is a common problem and neither the manufacturer or the seller want to address it in a reasonable manner. Buyer be ware.

¡Excelente cafetera!Me encantó esta cafetera Cuisinart. Tiene un diseño elegante y la jarra de cristal es perfecta para preparar hasta 12 tazas de café, ideal para toda la familia o cuando tengo visitas. Solo he usado la parte para café molido y el resultado ha sido excelente: el café sale caliente, con buen sabor y muy aromático. Aún no he probado el área para pods, pero hasta ahora estoy muy satisfecha con la compra. ¡La recomiendo!

Only if you like grounds in your coffee
WASTE OF MONEY! Don’t bother with this machine, you’ll only end up tossing it out the window in a month. Regular pot side works fine, but the coffee pod side is terrible. First the little button inside (that tells the machine it’s closed) wasn’t being pressed down enough so it always signaled the latch was open. Wouldn’t brew unless you keep a hand on top, applying slight pressure. I glued in a rubber foot, which solved that problem without affecting any other functionality of the machine.Second major issue is the coffee pods exploding. Randomly, yet frequently, those little plastic cups just bust right open sending coffee grounds into every nook and cranny of the internal space in the machine. There’s basically no way to clean all of it out, so any future cup of coffee that is successful will still have grounds in it. Reached out to customer service …they say it’s the needle that needs cleaning. Cleaned (unclogged) the needle. Cleaned it again, to be sure. Next pod used was fine. Pod after that exploded. Cleaned the whole machine again. Needle wasn’t clogged at all, but I cleaned it twice anyway just to be sure. Next pod exploded. I give up. Won’t even try to sell/give this away to my enemies!

We had a Cusinart coffee maker for about 20 years, used it daily and it lasted that long. Last month, the water tank started leaking, so we had to get a new one. We had a Keurig but it was kinda crowded on the coffee cart, so I sold it and bought this one. So happy with my purchase! Itâs easy to use, the single serve has more oz options than the old one and the coffee maker has a bold feature too. I got it for a really good price too! I hope it lasts as long as the last one!

We’ve always liked the Cuisinart name, liked the dual brew option and needed a new coffee pot. We purchased the coffee maker on October 30, 2024. It worked great, for a while. On April 5th, the maker stopped brewing after 1/3 of the carafe was full. The lights stayed on and everything was normal except for the fact it would no longer make coffee. As per the instruction manual, I unplugged the unit for a couple of minutes and tried again. The lights came on as usual but no luck with making coffee. I unplugged it again for a couple hours, but no change. I unplugged it overnight and tried it again the next morning with the same results. I called customer service on Monday morning and waited all day for a call back. The representative was quite abrupt, told me to send in my Amazon receipt and wait for a response – with no assurance of a response time.I liked the produce and know that sometimes things happen. I believe this company needs to have a more straightforward process to deal with issues like this – and would do well to upgrade the people in their call center…

My husband likes coffee, and I like tea. We love that we can use this product together in the morning. He makes a pot of coffee, and I use a tea pod to make my tea. I also liked that it came with water filters.
