Does not fit 4-9 ft closet , fits 6-9 ft
Description is inaccurate. This DOES NOT FIT A 4FT closet. It fits a 6-9 ft closet as shown on front of box! I was able to cut rods n wood to fit , however not everyone had the tools too do so.But I do love this closet organizer, best purchase in a while. Combined 2 closets n room for more 🙂

Good but not perfect
This item is good overall for the price. The functionality seems very well thought out, I purchased two of these and both had all parts that should be there (to be expected)Both units did have minor chips throughout that donât look that great, and a couple spots where you can see the adhesive wearing off. It wasnât enough to return but def enough to knock off a start and almost 2.

Easy assemble
It took me a min to build due to some of my board pieces being damaged. But my box was damaged when it arrived. But other than that it fit perfect in my girl closet and she loves it. The only thing I wish it had was more shelves or at least give you the option to add or subtract them.

Flimsy
Flimsy – I was surprised and disappointed with the quality. The bracing to keep the unit square was heavy cardboard and tiny nails tacked on the corners. Most of them pulled out tearing up the mdf and the white covering then 2 of the side cam locks came completely out so I had to use metal corner braces to get it to stabilize and square up.Working around these issues took a lot of time and 2 trips to the hardware store for the braces and a different way to secure unit to wall because the kit anchors were too short to accommodate the 1/4 round trim standoff.Honestly if I had realized the poor quality before starting – I would have built one from scratch and had a much sturdier unit with less time and about the same cost.

Will not fit a 4′ closet as advertised
The shelf system itself is fine. Average press board furniture. Rods are sturdy.3 stars because it does not fit where it says it will.It WILL NOT fit in a 4′ closet without modifications.I’m disabled and bought this because it was supposed to fit out of the box.It didn’t.

The unit went together as expected, we added drawers and it all looks quite nice. Unfortunately in shipping 4 of the 6 wall brackets for the closet rods were smashed into pieces. These replacements are not sold separately and the oval shape and click fastener make them unique. But luckily my wife contacted ClosetMaid headquarters and graciously sent us replacement brackets.

I REALLY love this closet organizer. It did take a while to install it and I had to bring the rods to the local hardware store where they trimmed the rods so they would fit my closet which is 5 feet 9 inches. If you do that, be sure to have them trim the side WITHOUT the holes. You need those holes to fit into the brackets so if you have the wrong side trimmed, you’ll ruin the rod. All in all, I am thrilled. The unit is secured, the rods are solid and it looks great!
