Iâve been long overdue to improve my skin care routine and my dermatologist recommended I exfoliate my skin a couple times per week. Ordered Vitamin C set after reading the reviews of many products. For $20 this set is amazing. The body scrub left my skin feeling rejuvenated, the cleanser and serum are nice and light, not sticky, fresh clean smell.The face cream soaked in quickly and probably wonât last all day but gosh, canât beat this deal. Larger than travel size, will order again when I get low on products.

Well, I first started taking skin care seriously maybe 3 years ago and I have a set skin care routine with set products but I am always looking to try something new and recently one of the Asian actors I follow on line showed his skin care routine and 2 of his products mentioned Vitamin C so after a little online searching, I decided I was going to try a few products but of course skin care can be pricey and I hated to put a lot of money into something that may not work for me and my skin. My skin is quite sensitive, btw. Plus which products should I even use? A cream? A Serum? Something else? That’s where something like this set comes into play.This actually is quite impressive given the different products and at this price point. This allows you to try different kinds of products to see which one works for you. Like for example, having tried everything in this set multiple times, I find that I do not like the body scrub. I tried it on my body as well as on my face and I just felt like it dried my skin out too much. When I was applying it to my face, gently of course, I did get some on my mouth and it was very salty which would explain why my skin felt dried out but if you have oily skin or do not mind the need to possibly apply extra moisturizer, you may like it.You also get a serum that is clear yellow in color with what looks like gold flecks of some sort. I don’t know what the flecks are but when I rubbed in the serum, I did not see them sticking to my face and I love the glow and moisturized feeling I get as a result. I also like the face wash. This lathers well and just a little dab will do. It leaves a nice clean feeling but does not dry my skin out like the body scrub. As for the cream, it is a yellowish orange in color and while it doesn’t feel as light as a lotion, it also doesn’t feel as thick as an ointment and it rubs in and absorbs well so my skin does not retain an orange hue when applied.To be clear, I have a multi step routine in place already and so I substituted some of my other products while using this hand in hand with some others, and those were mostly snail mucin products (if you haven’t dove into snail mucin, do it, do it now!) and these products paired well. So ultimately for 15 dollars, I discovered 2 products, the serum and the cleanser, that I absolutely love, the cream, that I like, and the scrub, which I didn’t care for. Even 3 products is still worth the price. For what I’m used to paying, even the two products I love are worth it. For 15 bucks, this is well beyond worth the price to try.

Weird that the cleanser, serum and face lotion all have THE EXACT same ingredients, in the EXACT same orderâ¦Aka thatâs not how chemistry works and all three products would not be able to exist if that was the case. It would be 3 products that were exactly the same. 100% do kit recommend. As an esthetician whoâs seen ALOT of products, I can assure you this is false advertisement. Can also assure you these products are not these ânaturalâ products being advertised by the company. Consistency, scent and color of all the products do not align with the ingredients being listed on the container.

Cruelty free skincare set
I’ve tried everything in this set and like some enough to regular use them over the past few weeks. My favorite item is the serum. It has the perfect consistency I prefer in serums which is not water and not too heavy but in the middle. It’s doesn’t make my skin feel stick, melds perfectly with cream without pilling into tiny balls.The face wash is my second favorite because it effectively cleans heavy sunscreen and dirt off my skin on the days I spent hours outside cycling, hiking, working, etc. I only use this cleanser when I need a cleanser to cut through a layer of sunscreen and grime and this one does it very well.The face cream is just okay. The consistency is good but I don’t feel it works as well as my usual cream and for that reason, I’ve tried it but didn’t continue using it.The body scrub is too drying for regular use on my dry, sensitive skin. I do use it similar to the cleanser and that is when I’m sweaty and grimy with a layer of challenging to remove thick zinc based sunscreen.
