Tast great and mixes well
Just baught this. Was looking for something that had no chemicals. Seen this one as the top rated from consumers report. I’ve put this in my smoothie and also just had it with water. The taste is great and I feel better. Will keep this as my morning routine.

Excellent greens powder
As usual, this greens powder has been excellent! I’ve been mixing it in with my smoothies and I am very glad that the flavor is not overwhelming nor does it overpower the rest of my fruits.I would strongly recommend that it be blended within any fruits or greens, smoothies or any other type of strong drink in case you don’t like the greens powder flavor.I will say that the value conscious buyer may want to wait for his sale because this is a bit more expensive than I would have preferred. Ideally, it should be a little bit cheaper because if someone were to buy this on a monthly basis, it might get a bit more expensive than anticipated.However, I’ve been using their greens for quite some time and I’m quite pleased with them. This is no different in which it blends quite easily, which usually is my biggest concern with different branded powders.The expiration date that I received was in 2027 which gives about 2 years for use. I think that is more than generous.The flavor itself (When mixed in water) is of a strong earthy greens flavor. I will admit that I am not a huge fan of drinking it just by itself. I definitely do need to mix it in something or at least add in agave to mellow The taste a bit. But again, I can’t emphasize enough, that when you mix it in a smoothie, you don’t even notice it, which is the highest compliment I can provide.

Questionable Sourcing
Based on the listed ingredients it seems like it should be a decent enough drink mix, and I will say that the taste isn’t bad, to me at least, particularly since it’s only 8 oz. May main concern is the lack of any mention of where this is made or the sourcing of the ingredients. One of the pictures showing in the listing indicates that this is “distributed” by a US company, not where it is made. Oddly enough, the actual label doesn’t even show that little information. There is absolutely nothing on the actual label that even hints of origin.

can taste the spirulina
This is a review for “Vital Greens Superfood Powder – Daily Green Drink Powder with Probiotics and Superfoods – Supergreens for Energy Boost, Gut Health, Digestion Support, Plant-Based Nutrition, Vegan Superfoods”The printing on the nutrition label part of the packaging is FAR FAR too small. I would be willing to bet it is 3pt. There is plenty of open space on the bottle that the label could be made larger, so the font could be increased. I had to use a pair of my mom’s really strong readers to be able to read the label and I don’t wear readers. That is just bad design.Putting that gripe aside, I will say this tasted better than I expected. I detest the smell of young barley grass and also spirulina, so I was prepared to drink this while holding my breath. And while the distinctive smell from these two ingredients is present, it is nowhere near as strong as I have smelled in other products.I mixed the one scoop with about 3 ounces of cranberry juice and 4-6 ounces of water. It is kind of a pain to mix together, but eventually I got there. I put my powder and liquids in a regular glass and used a spoon. You would probably have an easier time if you put it into a bottle where you could shake it. It took a lot of stirring and smashing of unmixed blobs.The bottle also comes with its own scooper, so no extra spoons necessary. This stuff is lighter than air, so if you drop the bottle (with the lid on) let it sit on the counter for a bit, so the dust can settle inside. If you drop it with the lid off, you might as well move house.Overall, better than I was expecting.

Good in smoothies
Good greens powder. I don’t tend to like the taste of stuff like this, so I just use it in smoothies, and I don’t notice it there at all. Glad to be getting more nutrients. It’s kind of expensive though, so I might try to find a replacement that’s not to costly. Really hard to read the label.
