This is the first percussion massage therapy product I’ve had and I am very satisfied with it so far. I am lucky that I don’t have a need to use this on a frequent basis so I waited to review until I used it several times. I chose the Opove M3 because a couple of trusted independent product reviewers had it on their top picks list for this product category. Since I never used a product like this before I wanted a good quality-value tradeoff product. My overall experience is that the reviews were accurate and the massager is a good product at a good price point. I’m an active, 65 yr old senior in good shape, in other words not an hardcore athlete type. I use the massager for post workout or overexertion soreness prevention and for relief after soreness sets in. It appears to help a lot in reducing soreness post workout – I don’t feel as bad the next day. As to relief after soreness has already set in – it offers temporary relief and feels good. My main uses are for gluts, quads, hamstrings, calf and in the hip area in the lower body. The M3 is pretty quiet and the battery lasts several uses before needing to be recharged. I like having 4 attachments for different applications, but generally use only the ball and the single pointed tip. Although it has 3 speed settings, for the most part the lowest one is sufficient for my needs. I like that it feels solid in my hands, that it has the feel of a substantial, quality tool. I wish there was an easier way to reach my back, I don’t like the technique described in the instruction, but that may be due more to my lack of flexibility more than a product issue. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product and highly recommend it.

i am on my feet for 10-12 hours a day. no matter the shoes i wear nor how much i stretch, my legs and feet are always hurting. i also have a handful of old injuries that cause me a lot of grief. same for my partner. i started seeing ads for a local stretch/massage place that uses percussive massagers, but at $75/person/hr i just couldn’t justify it. i started looking into buying one for home use and settled on this device based on reviews and price.the weight is nice. it is plastic but feels substantial. the build quality is also nice, with no misaligned or sharp edges. the rubberized grip on the battery makes it easy to hold. i saw some reviews mention that the battery/handle was hard to hold, but my partner and i had no problems with our average-to-large hands.came fully-charged, which was nice, since it was delivered while i was at work and using it was all i thought about all day 🙂 controls are easy to understand. comes in a nice case. the attachments are easy to install/swap out. the ball-shaped one is a firm foam that reminds me of a handball; it has a little give, but it’s quite firm. it is surprisingly quiet; we have been using it while watching TV in the evening and the noise is minimal.as far as battery life, we’ve been using it on setting 2 or 3 mostly, and have been getting a couple of hours of use, which is totally satisfactory. charging is pretty fast, and the lights on the battery unit turn green when it’s charged. when i’m not using it or when it’s charging, i set it upside down so the battery is upright and it’s resting on the flat top surface and it is substantial enough that i am not worried about it tipping over.obviously this is all subjective, but i love this thing. i can beat the heck out of the tight muscles in my neck, legs, arms, hips, and am pleasantly sore the next day, just like after a deep massage. i’ve used it on my neck/jaw/temple on setting 1 to get rid of a tension headache.overall, i’m really happy with this massager. so far it seems to have a really good quality/price ratio. if the company offered an “expansion pack” of different attachments with foams of different densities or shapes, i’d probably get that, too.

Excellent massage gun at a great price.
My wife and I have been looking for a decent massage gun for a while and finally decided to get one. We considered a good number of massage guns: Theragun, TimTam, Hypervolt, ExoGun, and others (in the price range of $120 to $600). Each one had their pros and cons. However when we stepped back to consider our needs we decided on the OPOVE M3 Pro Massage gun. Why?Our needs:- We are both fairly slim, so we weren’t too worried about finding a gun with a ton of power.- We wanted something durable that wouldn’t need to be replaced any time soon.- We hike a fair amount and also spend a lot of time at the computer for our work. We wanted to find something that could beat out our knots in our muscles effectively.Pros:- The OPOVE M3 Pro Massage gun has plenty of power and had no problem beating out the knots in our shoulders.- It comes with 4 attachments for different types of massage. We use the ball the most so far.- My ankle recently was hurting and it felt like I had some tendons that were locked up. I used the gun on the medium vibration setting and it worked out the locked up tendons with no issues. My ankle felt like new after that and I had no problems when I went for a long walk later that day.- Has 3 percussion speeds.- Comes in a nice carrying case that has a carbon fiber look to it.- Feels solid and the product seems to have a quality build to it.- Was charged and ready to go when we received it.- Came with a “Trigger Points Therapy” booklet which was useful for determining the best spots on your body to use the gun on.- Price! Compared to a lot of other massage guns, the OPOVE M3 Pro Massage gun was competitively priced and in most cases a lot cheaper than other massage guns.Cons:- The attachments are held in place by friction rather than a locking mechanism. Not really a big deal so far as they fit snuggly in place and haven’t fell out at all during use. Additionally a lot of other massage guns are the same, so truly not a problem, just an observation.
