Tara Sartoria is a small, women-owned business based in Chicago, USA. We specialize in luxury artisan silk robes for women and for men as well as silk pajamas, with each piece meticulously hand-crafted to envelop you in elegance and comfort, providing the most restful nights imaginable.
Tara Sartoria was founded by Tara Nguyen. She launched the business in November 2020 with her savings and a dream to create a business that supports artisans and women.
Tara Sartoria works directly with artisans in ancient silk villages in Vietnam. Tara Sartoria clothing is handcrafted in limited quantities and follows sustainable practice: minimal packaging, handmade production with low impact on the environment, zero waste of fabric, and usage of traditional artisan silk weaving techniques.
By providing flexible work at fair wages, university scholarships, and donating 10% of our profits, Tara Sartoria lends women in disadvantaged communities a helping hand on the path to a brighter future. When these women succeed, they lift the hopes and dreams of the whole community.

These robes are so beautiful! The silk feels wonderful & is slightly shimmery. The colors are lovely; I got one in the rose color & one in black.I’m 5’8″ & 150lbs. Amazon recommended that I buy an XL, but I purchased a M and it fits perfectly!The robes have big pockets, which is a big plus for me, also.They’re very well made with professional seams. My only complaint is that the rose-colored robe has kind of an orangey lining. I think that these will last a long time!

I wanted to wait to review this until Iâd washed it a couple of times and itâs held up really well. Itâs colorfast, which was my main concern. Thereâs no ph bleaching from lotions, sweat, etc., like you get with cheap dyes.Iâm not a seamstress, but the stitching seems excellent. Very sturdy. Iâm petite, and the sleeves are 3/4 on me, which I like. Someone who wants more coverage might prefer a different style.What I really love are the ties: one inner tie, one outer, and one attached belt. Iâve done housework and taken naps in this thing and it never falls open. BUT, if youâre the type who prefers an open robe, the attached belt might get in your way, or you can always tie it behind you.I love silk because itâs breathable, and yet this also keeps you warm.

Incredible. For the last few weeks I’ve been pretty much living in silk pajamas from Tara Sartoria, and I love them so much I ordered a robe for my wife. It arrived this morning and it was love at first sight. She’s battled through a hangover to drag herself out of bed and try it on.The silk feels crazy high quality, the proportions are perfect and the stitching is spot on. I know from my pajamas that the silk is colourfast and holds up very well to the laundry. I wash at 30C in a mesh bag on a regular 30 minute cotton program, and after multiple washes it’s still in great condition.Easy five stars from me. This is the real deal.

Everything about this Tara Sartoria Luxury Artisan Silk Robe, from the packaging to the actual robe, is purposeful and thoughtful. Made of mulberry silk by hand, the robe feels silky and soft. I love the way it drapes on me, feels and looks. Fit is true to size, and please follow the launder instructions for long life. I recommend this!
