Overpriced but its good.
This review is for LTH Flex Whey Protein Isolate.This is one of the better tasting whey proteins ive tasted. It has a really smooth flavor that mixes well and doesnt taste like artificial nonsense. 20g of protein in a 28g scoop isn’t bad. The ingredients list is pretty good, would love to not see “natural flavors” in there but it is what it is. The biggest problem with this protein is the cost. I have had better proteins with even better ingredients for LESS money. It’s really the only thing that holds this stuff back. I can’t recommend it at the price even though the product is good. Unfortunate. If this was priced better then it would be an easy 5 star protein powder. I’ll give it a 4 but it probably deserves more of a 3.5 considering the value isn’t there.

I have a litmus test whenever I review a new product which helps determine the score. “Why does this product exist?” To bring a new product to market, a new item should either fill an unmet demand or fill a void in the market. So, I ask myself, why does this product exist.This is a chocolate Whey Protein Isolate supplement. There are plenty of those alread in the market, so it is not filling a void, so it must be trying to fill and unmet demand. Is that demand better taste, better ingredients, cheaper price, etc.? So, it needs to be compared to what already exists in the market. The most popular Isolate brand is probably Isopure, so I will compare it to that brand.When compared to Isopure, FLEX only seems to accomplish one thing that Isopure doesnt’t. Isopure is cheaper than FLEX. As of the time of writing this review: For two pounds, FLEX is $69.99 or $2.36 per ounce. Isopure is on sale and three pounds is $50.99 or $1.06 per ounce. Taste is a matter of preference, some may prefer one over the other. The real difference is the non-sugar sweetener used. Isopure, and most every other Isolate selling company out there, use an artificial sweetener like sucralose or Ace K. Isopure uses sucralose, aka Splenda. FLEX doesn’t use an artificial sweetener, they use steevia leaf extract. I know several people who only seek out and use supplements with no artificial sweeteners. So, this is where FLEX is going to shine, it is only sweetened with stevia leaf extract. So, you will have to decide for yourself if this is worth the extra cost to you, for me it isn’t, especially since the cost of steevia is only negligibly higher than sucralose. Not $1.30 per ounce more, so I ding it one star since the value for me doesn’t compensate the ingredient difference. I also ding a second star from the score for label/listing honesty. The Amazon listing states that the contry of origin is USA. However, on the label itself there is no indication of country of origin or manufacture. That is concerning for me in a supplement brand. I don’t want to ingest anything if I don’t know where it came from. So, my score of three stars, just okay, is based on the results of my litmus test and label/listing clarity and honesty.

Good product
Low in cholesterol which is important for me (doctor says). Taste pretty good and mixes well. When mixed with plain greek yogurt it taste almost like chocolate pudding. I usually go 2-1/2 the serving size, which is only 275 calories for 50 grams of protein. I would certainly recommend.

An excellent blending but odd tasting whey isolate protein powder
The first thing I look for is taste. Unfortunately, the Chocolate flavor is not good, it has a bitter chemical taste to it. It does blend well resulting in a smooth texture. Some positives: 1) Low calorie and fat content and excellent protein content; 2) Excellent for use as a daily protein supplement and/or a meal supplement/replacement due to the added minerals with substantial DVs (Potassium and Calcium). Unfortunately I cannot get past the off-putting taste. Cannot recommend.

Solid product – very expensive
A very solid chocolate whey protein. Unfortunately the price is extremely high – 2x many competitors. For that much of an upcharge I feel like this should be the best tasting product you’ve ever tried and have some added benefits in the ingredients.It seems to be high quality whey – it is lean and isn’t loaded with fillers. It will definitely help you build muscle, lean out, and it’s easy to use. It mixes well.If they could bring the price down or you get a sale price – you’ll be happy with your purchase. But ultimately it needs to be more affordable to compete.

Tastes amazing! Mixed well in a shaker bottle. No directions on the bottle, so thatâs quite odd, but itâs good just mixed with water or milk. Very large size and great ingredients!

Too sweet for me
I found this whey powder to be way too sweet to even use.For context, it seemed as sweet as any sugary soda or overly sweet processed dessert (like cake from the freezer tends to be; sweet instead of flavor).If I liked overly sweet things Iâd probably love this but itâs just too sweet for me.
