smaller than I thought but works great!
I got the medium (10.14 oz) version of this stovetop espresso maker and it was definitely smaller than i pictured, but honestly it ended up being just right. it easily makes a double shot for both me and my wife with a bit to spare if I have it all the way full, which is perfect for us in the morning. It heats up fast, feels sturdy, and the stainless steel looks really nice. i’m using it on an electric stove and havenât had any issues. cleanup is easy and the coffee comes out great

I Love this Espresso (Cuban) Coffee Pot.
I have had the 10 cup, London Sip Espresso Pot for 3 months. I have used it about 20 times. It looks brand new. The Gasket and Filter work perfectly. Its a great looking, compact, and easy to clean Espresso Pot.Ive been making Cuban coffee for about 12years and learned some things from “The London Sip” instruction Guide. It had very useful tips. I learned a few things, Like replace the Gasket and Filter. I never heard that before. I didn’t know you were suppose to replace them. London Sip has replacement part! Its a really Good value. I’m looking forward to many Great cups of Cuban Coffee for many years.

Has 3 issues: Tough to remove the coffee holder; top knob makes it hard to open the lid, and…
…and it makes just one cup instead of 10. OK, so a “cup” in Britain must be really tiny. But I filled it to the bottom of the relief valve as instructed. And it made exactly 16 fluid ounces, which is ONE cup (at least it is in Arizona). But it SAYS it makes 10. I decided 16 oz is enough for me in the morning, so I’ll keep it. But be warned. It won’t serve you and your spouse and eight guests. Get a bigger one for that. The other issues are that the coffee grounds holder fits so tightly on the top of the lower water reservoir, it very tough to remove for cleaning. You have to turn it upside down over the trash can. Difficult when it is still hot. I had the same issue with a Grosche moka pot I returned. But the LUXHAUS Moka Pot – 9 Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker I bought here for my summer home has a spring around the coffee holder’s shaft, that causes it to lift up when you unscrew the pot. Much easier. Unfortunately it was not available when I went looking for another one (winter home). And the last issue is that the top has a handle that is supposed to allow you to lift the lid. It is pretty, but so poorly designed that I have to use some tool to get the lid up. And I found that while brewing steam escaped around the lid hinge, super heating that top handle. Ouch! Having said all that, it does make coffee. BTW, it says to throw out the first three pots, to avoid a “tinny taste” from the stainless steel. I threw out only one, because I struggled to get the grounds out and the clock was ticking. So I did get tinny tasting coffee. But, they warned me. One good suggestion in the instructions was to use your kettle to preheat the water to boiling before you pour it into the bottom reservoir. Good idea if you have a kettle (but it can burn you when you try screwing the pot back together). Without this step it took a long time to brew a pot on a smooth top electric stove. After preheating, the water it was instantaneous. But ouch again. When filled with boiling water I had trouble getting the hot bottom reservoir screwed back together with the black upper section, so steam and some coffee leaked from that joint.

Great Lattes â
I read the product instructions. No matter what I do I can’t get the full amount of water to brew. There’s always a few tablespoons left in the bottom. It does make excellent espresso though. I decided to try oatmilk and make a latte. The results were amazing. All the milk came through and it was perfectly cooked too. So I will be making lattes now.

I have used conventional Italian aluminium Mokka pots for many years but have found that they eventually corrode. I therefore purchased the all silver, 10 cup version of this London-sip pot. These pots look elegant, are solidly made in corrosion-resistant stainless steel and have an extra steel filter above the coffee compared to most other pots to reduce fines. Spare gaskets and filters for the pot are available. My only (minor) criticism is that the knob on the top lid provides rather an awkward grip when the pot is hot. I therefore keep the lid open to monitor the extraction.Helpful instructions are provided. It is important to follow the guidance on initial preparation of the pot to avoid a metallic taste. I find the 10 cup pot holds approximately 40 g of medium fine ground coffee, yielding approximately 370 ml of extract. To avoid bitter coffee I broadly follow the instructions provided, starting off with nearly boiling water in the lower reservoir. I prefer an electric induction hob, moving the pot aside as necessary to maintain a controlled flow of extract without sputtering. Excess extraction is prevented by cooling the lower reservoir under the tap. Mokka pots require a little getting used to. If you are unfamiliar with Mokka pots I strongly recommend looking at some of the excellent instruction videos online. At the time I purchased it, the pot represented excellent value for money. Indeed, I like this pot so much that I am about to buy it’s 6 cup sibling for those occasions where I don’t want quite so much caffeine. Strongly recommended.
