Very easy to use. First rate.
Have been using this coffee maker every morning for about 2 weeks. So far, so good. Makes excellent coffee (I use Black Rifle Coffee). Operation is simple and straightforward. Controls are well thought out and easy to decipher. The keep warm function for half a pot is handy as I just make half a pot. No burned taste due to overheating. There are quite a few coffee makers of this type which obviously copy the one made in the Netherlands (which is very expensive and also gets great reviews). As usual Krups engineers have done a great job producing a not cheap but reasonably priced unit that functions perfectly. Can’t speak to longevity, but will update review if there is a problem in the future. Highly recommended. One reviewer complained there is no way to shut off the drip if removing the carafe prematurely. Actually, there is. A simple slide switch on the filter holder can be set to full brew/flow, slow brew/flow, or shutoff flow. No drip on warming plate if shut off.

Unbelievable!
We own a MocaMaster coffee machine at our Airbnb. Whilst it makes excellent coffee it is a little awkward to use and the drip stop mechanism is useless (even though we have purchased a new one).So to my surprise, after reading the reviews, I purchased this similar Krups model. I ran 2 pots of water through the machine, as instructed, and then took the same coffee, paper filter and water and brewed my first cup. Being more of a technical person I found the review claims that the coffee tasted smoother and generally better, somewhat impossible. However, I can attest that this is actually the case. Another plus is that all the annoyances of the MocaMaster are resolved with this machine. I could not be happier as I am a heavy coffee drinker and now have fabulous tasting coffee!!

Perfect flavor perfect temperature!!
I have been making manual pour over coffee for a while. I read the description on the Krups machine and I knew I had to try it. I still weigh my coffee at night and weight my cold water and rinse the paper coffee filter in the morning. Just put it together and turn on the blooming button, half pot button and slow pour where the water goes into the ground then the on button and walk away. No more standing around to manually do a slow pour.

This coffee machine isnât just absolutely gorgeous but it is highly efficient, super silent and the coffee is amazing! I get to enjoy my mornings everyday with the best coffee every single day! I used to go out for coffee a lot, now I canât wait to get home so I can serve my own coffee! That is a huge thing to me. The pot has a big water capacity, it serves flaming hot coffee to perfection each time, and have I mentioned how beautiful this machine is!? Also super easy to clean! Definitely recommend it!

It is not only stylish and modern in appearance, but also really brews delicious coffee. It feels like it is SCA-certified – the taste of the coffee is rich, with a beautiful aroma, like from a coffee shop. I especially liked the âbloomingâ function – the coffee turns out to be softer and sweeter in taste.The control is simple and convenient, there are modes that allow you to make the coffee even more aromatic. A very nice bonus – all parts are easily removed and washed in the dishwasher. The carafe, filter, aroma tube – everything is cleaned without problems.It is worth mentioning the aroma tube made of stainless steel – it really retains heat and adds aroma to each cup.

Perfect flavor every time
This is a premium coffee maker that gives the user tips and features to customize the brewing experience and make the perfect cup of coffee every time.Upon taking it out of the package it was fairly simple to clean and set up. For brewing my first pot I elected to use the half pot feature just to test it out. I opted to try the coffee using half of the recommended amount of scoops based on my previous experience with coffee makers.The coffee drip speed is controlled by a lever that gives the user options of full or half drip, with the half drip allowing the coffee more time to infuse. I opted to brew on full drip for the first use since this is most similar to a standard coffee pot.In the end the cup of coffee I produced using these settings tasted similar to that of a standard coffee maker as I anticipated.The carafe can be removed during the brewing process if needed by turning the drip lever all the way to the right. There is a âbloomâ feature for the coffee connoisseur that will give the coffee more flavor if desired, although I havenât tried this yet.All and all this coffee pot is fairly simple to set up and easy to get brewing, while simultaneously allowing the user to modify settings to get the best flavor.
