Good for dogs too.
I am 5â4â with a 37â waist. There is plenty of room even if I was several inches larger. I am older and at times, like walking down narrow aisle during customs and the airplane, I need to carry my 18# dog. I am not as strong as I use to be. This is a life saver. My dog loves the carrier and is very comfortable straddling it. See pictures.

Finally able to hold my 21lb 5 month old
My baby is huge. Not just weight but heâs >99th percentile for length, too. Heâs too long for me to hold with one arm, and heâs so heavy! He still needs his back supported when sitting, so I canât just hold him upright on my hip with one arm; he needs his bum and back supported. This helps me to hold him with one hand without killing my back or cutting off circulation in his leg (if youâve been there youâd understand).Iâm not rating this on any other feature because I donât use it to hold anything other than my baby.

This has become a necessity for us. We jokingly call it the mom saddle, but it’s absolutely worth bringing everywhere. It’s definitely made going places with the kiddos easier, and saved our arms!

Was a shoulder saver
As my kid got bigger this helped save my arm and shoulder from a developing discomfort affordable and better than trying to put a larger infant or toddler in a chest or back carrier. The strap is a bit hard to tighten but it wears well once you figure out where to put it. Seems like it holds up as well, not concerned about my child falling off or the product ripping

Game changer for carrying a toddler!
This thing has saved my back! I originally got this for my husband to help him carry our toddler. I can set her on my hip so itâs always been easier for me. I figured this would give him the same benefit. I was worried about fit, but it works on both of us (Iâm a womenâs medium, and heâs a menâs extra large). He likes it and has used it a couple time. However, I started using it to go to the zoo (we have a family membership) and it is incredible! I can take our single stroller for our youngest who sleeps the whole time anyways, and then my toddler can walk or ride on my hip throughout the zoo. I literally walked her through the entire zoo today (she decided she âcouldnâtâ walk on her own). And while my back is still sore, my arms didnât fall off! This offers a comfortable, safe seat for your kid and saves your muscles. So worth it. The zippered pocket is also super handy. I always tuck my keys in it so I donât lose them.

A LIFE saver for parents.
We bought two of these, one for mom and one for dad, to carry our toddlers in places our stroller might be hard to maneuver. Let me say, these are a life saver for your back. We carried our toddlers around with these for a couple hours. While carrying toddlers isn’t easy in general, this significantly helped take much of the load off our backs and hips versus carrying them without. And our girls genuinely enjoy sitting on these. You can tell they are much more comfortable than carrying them on our hip. I haven’t tried the big brand version of this because I refused to spend $80, especially since I wanted to buy two of them. I bought two of these for less than I would have spent on one of the big brand ones, and from what I’ve heard, parents like the HKAI much more than the big brand version. It’s a win win! Highly recommend.

Not really meant for toddlers
I donât know if itâs because of my height (5â0ft), or my back pain issues, but carrying my one year old thatâs 23pounds for more than 10 minutes really starts to hurt all my lower back. And it sags down too. I even make sure itâs super tight and it fails. I canât complain to much it works really good when I need to go do a quick shop at the store but other than that itâs not my way to go for like the mall, zoo, etc..
