Description

No matter how much you try, it’s impossible to get freshly brewed flavor from coffee that’s been sitting on a hot plate too long. That’s why we created the Hamilton Beach BrewStation, the only coffeemaker that keeps coffee tasting fresh for up to four hours. This best-selling coffee maker works just like a traditional, automatic drip brewer, but with a notable difference: it brews into an internal tank instead of a carafe. This innovation in brewing technology is what will make your last cup taste just as fresh as the first. An internal heater keeps coffee at the perfect temperature for up to four hours, so you can refuel with a fresh, hot cup throughout your morning. And with no glass carafe, you have nothing fragile to break and replace. Instead, you can easily pour a cup with the one-handed simplicity of a dispensing bar. The BrewStation lets you customize your cup with brewing options like bold, regular, small batches and even iced coffee. The internal tank and brew basket both remove for easy fill-up and cleaning.
FRESH FLAVOR LONGER WITHOUT THE CARAFE: This dispensing coffee maker replaces the carafe with quick and easy dispensing of fresh, flavorful coffee anytime. Without a carafe, there’s no breaking, spilling, or cleaning baked-on coffee stains.Filter type:Reusable
NO MORE SCORCHED OR BURNED COFFEE: The Hamilton Beach coffee maker’s internal warming heater keeps coffee warm and fresh for hours. It works without a carafe, so coffee won’t burn or scorch.
PREPARE HOT OR ICED COFFEE ANYTIME: The 12 cup coffee maker dispenses coffee directly into a cup or a 7″ travel mug whenever you’re ready for a cup by simply pressing the dispensing bar. Quickly fill your cup with delicious, fresh coffee.
KNOW WHEN IT’S TIME TO CLEAN: Helpful reminders on the digital display let you know when it’s time to clean the coffee maker, so you never forget.
ULTIMATE BREWING CONTROL WITH PROGRAMMABLE SETTINGS: The brew strength selector has 4 options: bold, regular, 1-4 cups, and iced coffee. The blue-backlit clock is easy to see and can be set up to 24 hours in advance for wake-up ready coffee.

OUTSTANDING VALUE: Nothing to Break, Very Affordable, Functional & Fun
(*Update, 1/1/25:I’ve had this for half a year now, and I still love it. It works flawlessly, and continues to deliver great coffee. However, that little bit of extra resistance at the pushbar/button continued to bug me, so I MacGyvered it (look it up, ye kiddies) and just trimmed the spring at the plug valve under the pot. Check my last pic- it was easy. Just a screwdriver and a pair of wire cutters, with a good brushing of that little filter (it gets grimy, and this is also a good time to clean the machine- use 1/3 distilled vinegar to water, and run a couple of cycles.) Anyway, presto! She is not so resistant now, is she? A caution, though- if you cut that spring too much, say more than 1/3, it won’t have enough force to keep that rubber seal pushed shut, and your unit could drip. Finding another spring would mean a trip to Home Depot. Just go easy. It was a good mod, though, and the pushbar is more accommodating. Try it if you’re like me- annoyed by the little things, with too much time on your hands. Ta, and happy New Year!)I first encountered the Hamilton Beach on a vacation, and was captivated by a machine that automatically dispensed coffee; why hadn’t anyone thought of this before? I’m also a sucker for gadgets and buttons, so I couldn’t wait for an excuse to get one.The excuse presented itself soon after, when I broke our second Ninja pot. At $25 a pop, I was already in for $50, and number three was gonna make it $75. I didn’t like the math, and Ninja didn’t make a steel carafe. If they had, I would have stayed with it- it’s a nimble little machine that makes tasty coffee. But like printer cartridges, they soak you. And my trusty old Cuisinart finally gave up the ghost after one too many spills where I forgot to put the lid on. I kept the steel carafe, though, and I poured my coffee from the Ninja into the carafe. It stays hot and fresh longer, something no glass pot can do.Segue to the HB. It’s pretty simple, with only a reservoir (the base unit) a “pot” (the plastic unit on top that the coffee brews into) and the filter. You fill up the reservoir (I use the pot to do this, which is easy to hold and has a pour spout that actually pours without dripping all over), grind your beans (medium to fine), stick it back together and press the button. The BOLD and 1-4 settings work well, and you can adjust the pot to stay hot for 0-4 hours (which is does because of the conductive heating plates which meet at the pot and the base). The zero hour setting is for cold coffee. But as long as a coffee machine works and is easy enough to clean, it’s all about the taste. Here the HB also performs well; we’ve had it for a couple of weeks and the coffee is as rich and flavorful as anything that comes out of a sub-$300 machine or a French press (which I still like best). A traditional pot is easier to clean, because it’s round, but a good brush takes care of the odd shape of the pot. The HB cost $59, and I opted for the 4-year Asurion warranty for an extra $11- I’m fed up with things that go kaput, and while I don’t see that happening with this unit, it’s worth the piece of mind. The fact that it won’t break was one of the two big sells for the HB. The other was the auto-pour feature, which, while pretty neat, comes with an asterisk.**It’s got a bit of resistance. When I push my cup against it, the unit slides back, even though it has a couple of rubber pads, and it’s on a granite counter. Easily solved by putting it against the wall, which doesn’t impede the lid or machine in any way. But it does take a little more push than, say, a lever at a soda machine. No big deal, but some people may take umbrage at the audacity for it to push back a little. Hey, I’m the boss here, and you’re gonna give me a cup whether you’re in the mood or not, little button.Take away: The HB is solid unit that won’t break, and it makes very good coffee that stays hot. It obviates spills and burns (smart for seniors who shake or drop things), and for less than the price of three replacement Ninja carafes, it’s a bargain, and it’s fun to get your morning going at the push of a button.Cheers,-Z

Honest review from 2 time owner
I want to begin by saying that I absolutely love this thing. I was on the lookout for a coffee maker that would reduce the amount of spillage that my wife does when she pours her coffee. This turned out to be a great solution. We are on our second version of this product. We had a red one at first got it a few years ago. We now have a black one. Here’s where the honesty comes in.The quality of a black one is less than the red one for sure. If the red one was a 9 out of 10 Star product when it comes to quality then the black one is probably a seven and a half. The pieces don’t have quite the super snug fit that the red one had and the plastic just seems a little bit less refined if that makes sense. The ability to keep your coffee warm the variations of Brew types the Simplicity of use the pour feature are all fantastic. I’ve seen several on here stating that it leaks. Sure when you overfill it it leaks. If you pour in the water too fast it’s going to leak or dribble. After extended use if you don’t keep it clean yes it will drip. The only reason we bought a new one is because the last one started to drip. The compartment that holds the coffee which is the top part that you see in my picture that has the clock and the silver area on it started to drip. So you take that off you undo these two screws you remove the little flap that I see people posting on here that broke you give it a good cleaning your rinse out the area on the inside where the flap sits and you put it back together with the two screws and you’re good to go.Most people don’t take time to maintain their coffee pot when it starts to act up they just buy a new one because they’re cheap. On the other hand I am cheap so I try and maintain it clean it take care of it and it lasts. I think we had our other one for 3 years and it started to leak and as I was cleaning it I over tightened the screw and I broke the section that it screws into and that’s the only reason I got a new one and can write this review about the quality of the new version.Yes it’s probably made in China or Taiwan or something like that but so is everything else. It is a quality product. And it reduces the potential danger of your older mother or your wife spilling hot coffee everywhere. Maybe your dad is not as graceful with the coffee pour. Maybe your kids drink coffee? They just walk up to it put their cup underneath it and push the button and it pours into their cup.Would I recommend this product? 1,000%. Is a little bit of a different process absolutely and that’s okay. I think it’s cool that the company at Hamilton Beach took the time to create a coffee pot that was completely different than all the other coffee pots you’ve ever seen. If you’re worried about the durability then go get a 1960s percolator that makes 32 cups of coffee and just use that we have one of those that we use for parties and it’s been around and works just fine for about 50 years now. But if you’re just looking for something that is a little bit different convenient and provides the ability to adjust the Brew type of your coffee from regular to bowl to extra bold then go for this give it a shot. I like companies that think outside the box and Hamilton Beach has done a great job of that with this product. Like I said I bought two of them and if I had friends that I wanted to spend 50 bucks on for Christmas I probably buy one of these for them too.So don’t let the negative reviews deter you because sometimes people get lemons it’s the same debate between Ford versus Chevy this is Hamilton Beach versus Mr Coffee sometimes people have great results with one and not the other but for the most part it’s a coffee pot man it should work just fine.I will end this by saying that I am a fan a very big fan. And would totally 100% recommend this product if someone asked me about it. Oh look they asked me about it, and here I am recommending it.

    BPA Free Or Not?????????
So far so good. The reason it’s not getting five stars is that the hot coffee is kept hot in a plastic container at the top and there is nothing about whether or not this plastic is BPA free. Oh well. I’m old and going to die soon anyhow. I might bug the manufacturer and find out whether or not this thing is BPA free and come back here and post about that. Also, here on Amazon it says it’s from China. But on the box it says manufactured in Canada. I mean that’s a real selling point that they should post here on the description if it is true.Brew speed is slow if you like “BOLD” coffee. If you are fine with watered down midwestern style coffee then the brew time is faster.

    Good quality!!
Quality is good but disappointed that there’s no separate reservoir. With limited vision it’s difficult to see to fill inside reservoir. All my other HB brew stations had a removable reservoir. I still give it 5 stars bc it brews great coffee, has warm time and coffee strength

This is a great coffee maker but not perfect. It truly keeps the coffee hot whereas all double walled carafes are tepid in 40 mins. The machine is easy to use but it seems a lot of people over look the obvious as they separate the parts and put the water in the wrong place even though there is 12 cup fill guide on the left hand side of the lowest section. My machine had both of the common problems, the leaking at the pour lever and the heater boiling the water. There is videos on Youtube for both problems. It took 5 mins to adjust the pour lever problem and 2 mins to put two pieces of aluminum foil over the heater to prevent it from boiling the coffee. The one HUGE improvement for this would be an LED light near the pour lever so when filling your mug you can see how full it is getting without having all the lights on in the kitchen LOL

    sehr gut

  7. Pegamonte

Excelente, fácil preparación, no hay riesgo que se rompa la jarra, servir el café es de lo más fácil.

  8. Hector Garcia

    Práctica y útil.

  9. Franko

The drip tray kept separating from the coffee maker and was a nuisance until I found a way to wedge it in place. A poor design feature. Otherwise it is working well and makes a decent cup of coffee. Not having any glass carafe is a big plus.
