I use this as one of many ingredients in my homemade flea and tick repellent. My husband is a mountain biker and collects all kinds of critters riding in the woods. He has many friends with Alpha Gal syndrome from tick bites so we are doing what we can to prevent getting bitten. This is my fourth Gya Labs oil, which officially means Iâm either building a beard oil empire or slowly becoming an aromatherapy wizard. Maybe both. This vetiver oil? Absolutely delicious. Itâs got that smooth, earthy, slightly smokey scent that makes me feel like Iâm standing in a damp forest after a campfire storytelling session with Gandalf.I use it in my beard oils and it adds that perfect rugged mystiqueâlike I wrestle trees for fun but also write poetry. The bottle’s small, but mighty. Just a few drops and my beard smells like a wise lumberjack with emotional depth.Gya, keep âem coming. Iâm one bottle away from turning my bathroom into a potion shop.

No drops came out, had to rig it, manufactured malfunction
It seems to me that Gya Labs is a great quality brand that can be trusted and although I still like them, to someone new to essential oils it would be a real bummer to have the experience I did with the dropper – hence 4 stars not 5.I have bought 3 oils from Gya Labs within the last 5 months and all have been great except this one.The dropper malfunctioned and nothing would come out and even with my husbandâs help and various tools – paper clip, etc. Finally I figured out the hole was manufactured incorrectly and had to break off the sealed portion where the drops were actually supposed to come out. Now it works, but after much frustration, and loss of the precious oil I paid for.Hopefully this was just a one-off error. Want to make Gya Labs and others aware!

So I have Kundal ylang ylang shampoo and I thought, that that essential oil would have similar smell. But honestly, it smells for me as if you walked in massage salon. I hope itâll change in better way with time, because right now it doesnât smell ylang ylang for me. Flowery yes. And I think the smell is a bit heavy.
