Odd burnt-looking residue in the inside of mine
REVISED: It’s great now that I got a replacement WITHOUT a weird baked-on residue on the inside!PREVIOUSLY:Mine arrived with some sort of substance (maybe a glue of some kind?) splattered in the inside. It was possible to mostly scrape off with my fingernail, but it left a bit of an odd patch that seemed like it might be some remaining piece of whatever this epoxy-or-whatever is. It looks like it was something burnt onto the inside in the factory.Itâs PROBABLY not toxic but as I canât seem to complete scrape off the odd residue and Iâm going to be drinking out of it, Iâm sending it back for a replacement.Will update this review if I get a second one without a bonus manufacturing residue.

Excellent espresso maker
I love this new espresso maker. Each cup has been perfect. I bought the 9 cup which really makes 3 drinks. Itâs so simple to use â I fill the base with filtered water up to the metal valve which is super easy to see⦠I put in the little espresso cup and add three tablespoons of espresso ground Cafe Bustelo. The screw on the top piece and brew it over medium heat. I hear my favorite gurgling sound a few minutes later and I am ready to go!Just add a little sugar and milk and my day is off to a perfect start!Thank you for a great product!(PSâI got the pink pot and it is so beautiful! I love the look of the wood handle, plus it doesnât get hot!)

Not Dishwasher Safe
This is perfect for me to brew one mug. Just don’t put it in the dishwasher. Unfortunately I did and it was never the same again.

Great moka pot, no problems.
This is a great moka maker. The 5fl oz (3 cup) was perfect for one person. I used hot water to begin with, kept it at a low flame (gas stove), to fit the pot. Worked great. No problems at all. I used a ground coffee made for moka pots. The Milano blue speckled stone finish is beautiful and very cute. Recommended moka pot. Taste great.

6-cup size makes two American-size coffees.
This was perfect. We bought the 6-cup size to make 2 strong coffees that we add hot water to. We like it more than pour-over coffee. Just make sure to wash by hand, as the aluminum will oxidize if you wash it in the dishwasher.

3 Months in- works great!
I have been using this moka pot daily for about 3 months now and have had zero issues. I really like how the handle protects your fingers from the hot metal. I get just under 0.5 cups (4oz) of brew from it, which is perfect for making a pseudo-latte.

I had initially planned to buy a Bialetti moka pot, but some research suggested Grosche Milano product quality was actually better. I went with the Grosche and I’m been very satisfied with it.This coffee maker is beautifully designed with a shiny silver coloured coating over the aluminium body. It looks great sitting on my kitchen countertop. It feels sturdy and well built, with impressive overall quality. Notably, it has a silicon seal which lasts longer than the cheaper plastic seals used by other manufacturers.Most importantly, this product makes excellent coffee every time. Do not compress the coffee grounds; just lightly level off the surface. This will allow the steam from below to pass easily through the grounds.My only complaint is when pouring the coffee, a bit trickles down the side. That’s minor though and can be avoided by pouring slowly and as close to upright as possible.

Pretty and easy to clean. Just wished it wasnât so pricey, especially because mine arrived a little crooked on the handle. Well, just hoping that a part of the monies actually does go towards the Water Project. Saving up for the bigger sizes, not that there will be any guests anytime soon… ð
