Great Percolator, Faberware Quality
I have been using an 8 cup Farberware percolator for a number of years. This four cup size has been working much better. I fill it up to just below the water spot and I cake make the right amount of coffee for Two 14 ounce cups.I stopped putting cream and sugar in my coffee and wanted to start drinking less each day. This 4 cup pot works great! I got some of the paper filters and am very happy.

The Perfect Pot
I am so happy with this 4-5 cup Faberware coffee percolator. It has taken me ages to find a perc. coffee pot for this amount of coffee. It works perfectly and best part NO cheap plasti just stainless steel that will last for ages. It makes a delicious cup of coffee!

Sturdy Simple (small)
Perfect for one person; NO PLASTIC!!! Sturdy so far after a couple months of use. I love the simplicity of it. A bit too small for 2 people, but just make another batch. There is no on-off switch or auto shut-off and coffee is HOT. That and the small size might be a turn-off for some. If they made a bigger version, even better. If it lasts, perfect purchase.

Love this coffee pot!
I bought this 4-cup electric coffee pot because it’s very small and compact, and perfect to throw into a suitcase so you don’t have to drink funky hotel coffee. It’s all metal, so nothing to break, and it couldn’t be simpler to operate. Literally just plug it in, and it stops percolating when the coffee is ready. It switches automatically to “warmer” mode, and to let it cool down or turn it off, just unplug it. It doesn’t even have any buttons or dials to mess with, and nothing digital or computerized. Perfect!

For the price it makes a good cup of coffee. Better than those pods, thatâs why I went back to the way my mom and grandma used to make coffee in a percolator. Coffee tastes much better and brews fast. Plus it comes out hot and stays warm much longer than my pods. Perfect size for me. I get two 10oz cups per pot which is all I need.My only complaint with this unit is it looks like it was a return as the pot and basket were stained with coffee when I removed it from the box. I cleaned it and it works well so Iâm keeping it. Just a little disappointed that I received a used pot when I ordered a new one.

complete trash BUT only slightly high price as just a pour-over pitcher
i bought this july 2023. this review is march 2024.this item makes TRASH COFFEE *but* it is only a slightly high price for a pitcher to make excellent pour-over coffee if you prefer steel over glass (which i do) and more than a single cup at a time.this is my first percolator. i was coming off trader joe’s instant coffee since working from home in our covid-endemic era. at my office, i drank the peet’s brewed in the kitchen. instant tj is an ok approximation to peet’s brewed cos at least it is wayyyy better than folger’s.at first this percolator coffee tasted fine (amazon, starbucks, peet’s, dunkin) cos it tasted like tj instant and i’d already adjusted myself down to that flavor/quality.issue 1: after a while, i wanted afternoon coffee so i made a pour-over cup and discovered what incredible trash coffee this percolator makes. same grinds had AMAZING flavor as pour-over but were only a moderately acceptable instant-like flavor from the percolator.SAME GRINDS.issue 2: the bottom has straight slits (same as the spreader/basket lid) instead of holes and they became clogged so i ordered filters which caused the coffee to come out GOLDEN. since i can’t see the percolator operate, i speculate that the water either (1) never enters the basket and instead flows out the wide gap along the rim of the spreader, OR (2) enters the basket but passes over the folded filter top (which filter has holes at the four corners to specifically fold over the straw) and exits through the slits along the top side of the basket (never actually reaching the bottom of the basket).CONFIRMATION:today i poured the percolator’s golden water into an electric kettle, let the percolator cool to remove its lid, boiled the golden water, and poured it over the spreader myself. i made sure the water never exited the wide gap along the rim of the spreader (speculation #1).COFFEE STILL GOLDEN. i didn’t observe whether the water flowed through the slits along the top side of the basket (speculation #2) but i was super mad so didn’t even try to use the spreader again.instead, i again poured the percolator’s golden water into my electric kettle, boiled the golden water, and unfolded the top of the filter — and poured the boiling golden water directly over the grinds (not over filter paper) — and got AMAZING POUR-OVER COFFEE.this percolator makes (1) trash coffee without a filter, and (2) golden coffee with a filter.btw the filters are ‘Melitta White Wrap Around Coffee Filter for Percolator’ and i’m returning them cos they brew golden coffee.i will use this percolator as a pour-over pitcher. i will use my steel pour-over cone with its filters (no percolator basket, no percolator straw).conclusionTHIS PERCOLATOR IS TRASH but a $60 pitcher if you prefer steel over glass (and more one pour-over cup) is pretty much as good as it gets cos i don’t even see any others.oh well.

Not What Farberware Percolators Used To Be, But We Shall See.
Itâs good in the sense that this little guy (4 cup) still brews a good cup of coffee, thatâs HOT, not just tepid that I have experienced with some electric drip makers, or those coffee makers that use coffee pods. I own 2 older Farberware electric percolators in the larger sizes, and you can see the difference in their quality in terms of how they were built then and now just by looking inside the pot. First time I purchased this 4 cup percolator, just wish it was designed having a slightly larger bigger capacity to at least brew two full 24 oz. cups of coffee when cycle is completed. The 4 cup line inside the pot measures less than 32 ounces. After brewing, I only get 1&1/2 mugs of coffee. But at least itâs hot and has good flavor. Hopefully, it last as long as my older ones.

Love this little percolator! I needed a little one for guests that have to have their morning coffee. After reading reviews I opted for this little gem. No filters to buy. Won’t take up a lot of space and yields a super quick cup of fresh brewed coffee.

Difficulty removing the lid of the pot. There was no on and off switch on product and no indication with a light telling you the product was on or off unless you went to the main switch. The product was more like tin than stainless steel and had a very weak plastic handle. The product came with an American electrical connection and not a British connection with plug. This was not in the advert of the product. The product would not work with a British electrical connection that we had to buy and so would not heat up the water in the percolator which looked more like a tin kettle.We have to pay postal costs to send this product back to America which was also not in the advert of the product. Altogether a terrible purchase and a waste of one’s time.

This is a nice-looking little percolator, but I didn’t know when I bought it that it comes from the US with an American plug. In order to use it in the UK, I would have to buy a transformer for nearly £100. In order to send it back and get a refund, I would have to pay the extortionate postage to America. I feel I’ve been comprehensively fooled. I’m angry. Don’t buy from this seller.
