Great Step Up
This is my first high-pressure espresso machine, and after using capsule machines and a French press for years, this definitely feels like a more serious setup. I got the machine mostly because it has a built-in grinder and seemed easy enough for a beginner to learn on without being too basic. Iâve tried both pre-ground coffee and fresh beans with itâand honestly, using beans makes a big difference. The flavor is way richer and more balanced. The built-in grinder has a bunch of settings, but Iâve found sticking to a medium-fine grind works best for me. It takes a little effort to dial it in at first, but once I got used to it, the results were consistently good. The milk frother is useful for lattes and cappuccinos, and while it’s not super fast, it does the job. One small downside is the machine takes a bit to heat up between steaming and brewing, and the water tank level isnât the easiest to check unless youâre looking from above. Still, for a home machine, this has been a solid buy. Itâs helped me enjoy better coffee without spending extra at cafés, and I actually look forward to making it every morning now.

Fix the steam wand and grinder
This is trash because I cannot get the steam wand to work. Nothing! No steam machine should be this hard. Why is there not nozzle to just engage? Instead I have to flip it to steam and then wait? Or something. It’s not working. Way to much involved also shots don’t pull very consistent.. the grinder is way off dose levels. Terrible. Also people I was a barista 8yrs .. so this shouldn’t be a hard task but it is. ALSO PORTAFILERS WHEN YOU PULL SHOTS ARE TO BE HOT! THR MACHINE DOES NOT HEAT UP THE PORTAFILER WHICH MEANS LESS QUALITY AND CREMA. YOU HAVE TO PULL SHOTS OR WATER SHOTS TO HEAT IT UP. TRASH. IF I HAD KEPT MY BOX ID REFUND THIS.

Great home machine without breaking the bank!
Awesome home machine without breaking the bank. I used to be a barista and have always wanted a machine for home. The tamper is high quality (usually you get a weak plastic one). The manual is easy to follow for set up and even tells you the time suggested for the shots (so if you do not know what they should like it also explains that as well). Beginners should have a timer out until they get the look of the shot down . It only took me 3 sets of shots to dial it in (but I do have experience). The grinder is great for beginners as it tells you when the finer vs coarser grind are needed. The only downer part is the steam wand takes a second to get going and is slow at heating up the milk, but it does work. I would suggest purchasing a thermometer for the milk temp. It does not come with shot glasses so those pictured did not come with the machine. Overall this is a great machine!

I am a novice at making expresso. I have spent a lot of time trying to adjust the grind, the amount of coffee, and the tamping pressure. The instructions are not very helpful. The machine does work, but it is going to take a lot of time to get to the correct combination.
