Works as well as expensive body oil
I am a big fan of moisturizing my skin so upon exiting the shower and toweling off, I first slather on body lotion and then follow up with body oil. For years I used a body oil that contains algae extract and smells citrusy, but was crazy expensive. I hated when I needed to repurchase. If you know body oil, you probably know the one I mean. I loved the oil, but not the price, so I went on a quest to find a body oil that had the same properties.I wanted it to have anti-aging benefits, sink in without feeling greasy, and give my skin a nice sheen without looking oily. I also wanted it to be affordable so I didn’t cringe every time I apply it. I tried so many different body oils and while many were okay, I just didn’t love any of them like my old fave. Most of them left me feeling oily and not moisturized. Until I found Derma B.The Derma B Barrier Oil is everything I was looking for! It’s chock full of luxurious plant oils that leave my skin feeling so soft and youthful looking and sinks in beautifully. I also love that it’s affordable so I can really slather it on generously. I will say that the only thing I’m not crazy about is the scent. It’s not bad and smells very clean and powdery, but to me it’s sort of reminiscent of the scent of baby products. That being said, just like my previous favorite oil, the scent dissipates quickly so I don’t really mind it.If you are looking for a body oil that performs and feels like a higher end oil, without the eye watering price, I highly recommend you give Derma B a try.

Feels more like a luxury oil!
I have the Neutrogena body oil and the Palmer’s body oil but I wanted to try a different one and I definitely prefer this one! It’s a little bit thicker but not like an oil gel…it’s just more substantial than the others I’ve tried! This one glides on the skin and absorbs nicely like a nicer quality without that greasy baby oil feel. I wanted to show the pretty sheen it leaves on the skin too! This is after not having a pedicure in three weeks!It’s not overwhelming of a shine (which I actually prefer more glow in the summer) but I think for winter it’s perfect. I use the EOS Vanilla Cashmere body lotion first then apply the oil.The last thing to mention is the scent. It does have a slight peachy scent but it does not interfere with any other fragrance or lotions/body butters that I use. Honestly it’s more of a nice layering effect which I was pleasantly surprised by!

Not too oily once apply on the skin, but relieves dryness and itchy irritation of the skin. I like the light scent!! Ordered it again! ❤️

Good for moisturizing but the smell can put you off
I like the size of the bottle, it will definitely last. As for texture, it’s almost like a thin film that easily spreads on damp skin. I just can’t get over the smell. The smell is powerful and to me, isn’t pleasant. I’ve tried their “Derma-B Intensive Barrier Multi-Oil” and I like that one better because it doesn’t have a smell that lingers.
