Loosen the lid when you use it.
Great value, well made. To drink you have to loosen the top to let air in when you use the built in straw. Otherwise you canât drink. Itâs not a big deal to do that.

the suction was so bad you couldnât get anything up through the straw. even tried trimming the straw to allow more space between the end and the bottom and still didnât work. ended up tossing it out.

The silicon straw make suction noise
This thermos looks beautiful on the outside, and I really like that it is made from high-quality materials â it feels well-made and sturdy.BUT when drinking from the silicone straw, it creates a vacuum, and when you remove your mouth, it makes a loud suction noise. It was honestly embarrassing â it made that sound in class and everyone heard it.Thatâs the only downside, but it was a dealbreaker for me, so I ended up returning it. I still do not understand what exactly went wrong, but everything else was great.

Works OK, but sipper design could be better
The bottle works well enough, and I haven’t noticed it flavoring my water at all. Haven’t had any problems with it leaking, and the coating on the outside has been holding up well to the occasional abuse. It also has a nice carrying handle that flips up for easier carrying.The sipper/straw setup is my main complaint. I am not a huge fan of sippers with straws in general as cleaning is more difficult than your standard opening. Though my real issue is that there is no pressure release, so if you are actively pulling in water it can become somewhat difficult. Works somewhat better if you remove the straw and just tilt the bottle, but that defeats the purpose of it coming with a straw. Still, this bottle does work, and it’s a great price, so it’s worth considering at its low price point.
