Lovely warm, stylish robe
Lovely quality cashmere and nicely tailored, this is my third cashmere robe and the best so far. It is a good length and has binding on the shawl collar to give a more expensive look. Compared with my last robe which was a Magaschoni and more expensive , this one is a thicker ply and much warmer. Have only just received it so can’t comment on how it will wear in terms of pilling but I suspect that like all my cashmere pieces I will probably have to use a wool comb on it from time to time. I think this is just a feature of cashmere and don’t know if the really expensive options also pill especially under the arms. My only complaint is that although the Small/Medium fits well everywhere else, it is rather large in the shoulders. By the way, I purchased the Charcoal grey and am very pleased with the colour.

Heavyweight and comfortable
I have found that the fabric of purchased clothing and sweaters seems to be getting more and more lightweight over the years. This robe is an exception. It is a luxurious heavy weight woven cashmere, soft and comfortable. My only complaint is that the robe tie is on the short side and I can barely tie it. The tie is necessary to keep it closed. Also, in a robe I prefer patch pockets rather than side pockets, but I can see that the side pockets have better support in the structure of the robe, so that choice is reasonable. Overall, I expect this robe to last decades.

At first the fabric was a bit stiff but after wearing it for awhile the fabric softened up and is so comfortable!Itâs lightweight and warm , I love it

Good value – Lmited Lifespan
They is the second robe I’ve bought in 3 years. They look great, feel great – but begin to pill after about three years and have to be replaced even thought the functionality (if that’s the right word for a cashmere robe) is unimpaired.

Cut for a man
To begin with, the robe arrived stuffed into a small plastic bag and very wrinkled.I love the fabric. Itâs very soft, lightweight and warm, but itâs obviously cut for a mans build. The sleeves go all the way to my fingertips but the robe does not wrap around my chest or hips. Iâm normally a large to extra large in womenâs clothing. 5â4â, average build.Iâm debating whether Iâm going to keep it or not. I donât normally make this kind of splurge, but thought Iâd get something Iâve wanted forever that Iâd get many years worth of use from. For this kind of money it should be cut for a womanâs figure and certainly shouldnât arrive needing ironing!
