Cute starter set with all youâd need!
This is a great set for someone who is just starting with makeup. This is not a set for people experienced in makeup because youâll be disappointed in the quality. II didnât have high expectations. With sets like these, they usually arenât the best quality. But, for anyone who is just starting, its a nice mix of products. Of course, with makeup that isnât the best quality, they can be hard to blend, but I donât see that really being an issue with someone just starting out in makeup. They wonât be doing anything too advanced, so a basic set will work as a starting set.This has everything youâd want in a starter set, foundation, concealer, powders, eyeshadow, liner, etc. and brushes. Of course, the complexion products (like foundation, concealer) arenât going to work for everyone. I wish sets like these just wouldnât include those of would have shade options so people could get ones that would hopefully match them. But, it still can give someone practice.Overall, this is an okay set. Itâs perfect for beginners. Like I said, it isnât the best quality but it will work for a beginner who is just starting with makeup and doesnât have anything and doesnât have any experience. Beyond that, I donât think this set would work for someone who had any experience. Theyâd be disappointed in the quality. Itâs a cute set for someone beginning, someone who just wants makeup to play around with, or someone who wants some variety but isnât too worried about the most pigmentation, best formulas, etc.

A good starter kit
This is a very nice starter set with everything a young person would need to explore the world of beauty. The tools in the kit are pretty decent for being included in a kit. The colors may not work for your skin type but I do appreciate that there are many colors allowing one to experiment. The foundation included probably will not match your skin tone, it did not match mine but that’s very personal and you could just run to the drug store and pick that up. I would also pick up some make up remover pads or wipes as well. I would call the make up included in the kit good quality drug store level make up, as there is nothing name brand but from what I tried it all works well.There is a lot to like about this kit and this would make a wonderful gift for a teenage girl, or perhaps if you had a girlfriend who was staying over and needed some make up. While the kit is not very personalized, there is enough in the kit that I would call it a good value and you can just pick up the items you need. This is a good starter set!

Okay for a beginner at makeup, some items better than expected
With this makeup kit, I will probably only use about half of the items. A few items had way too strong of a cheap perfume smell to them for me to be able to wear them, and some items I just likely will have no use for, though I appreciate them wanting to include a large variety of items.I would say with most of these items, because of the lower quality you have to double up on them to get the pigment to show up. The lip glosses were nice and had a coconut type smell/flavor which I enjoyed. The lipsticks had a nice variety of colors, a fruity flavor and although they are labeled as “matte” lipsticks they are more like a regular lipstick and were soft and moisturizing. I prefer this, as I normally don’t like the feeling of matte lipsticks anyway.I also like the amount of brushes included and the eyelash curler. The big standout for me was the eyeshadow palette at the bottom. It has a very soft pink cover and is nicely designed, and has a lot of brown colors that go well with my eyes.Overall, it’s an okay makeup kit with a lot of low quality items and a few gems.

Perfect for learning
Nice kit for people exploring or experimenting with makeup. My teenage niece likes it a lot. I did take some of the darker colored lipstick out but she has had so much fun with it. The price is great and I do recommend it.

Wonderful starter kit!
I’ve never been one to own much makeup and really wouldn’t know what to get. Diving in with a really broad survey of the options, like you get with this kit, is a great way to break the ice! It comes with the primer and concealer and foundation needed for a pale or pink complexion (especially for someone who still gets acne and needs to cover up the blemishes). It has powder and highlighters, plus finishing powder, and a variety of sponges and brushes. For the eyebrows, they’ve got stencils, pencils and a multi-line pencil for shaping and filling in gaps. For the eyes, they have liner, mascara, lash curlers and a bunch of eyeshadow (mostly red, brown, pink and beige shades, some sparkly and some outright glitter). For the lips, they have a bunch of gloss and lipstick.The kit comes with a variety of brands, and each item is individually packaged with the ingredients and instructions for that product, which I find very valuable. There’s nothing in the kit that seems like it’s weak or low quality, although I’m sure it’s all fairly inexpensive. Altogether, I am very happy with this whole set! I get to try different tools and makeup types, without standing paralyzed in the makeup aisle of a store in bewilderment as to what to get. Lots of fun already and I look forward to lots more with this really generous kit!
