Super easy to use
I absolutely love this! I have a Velcro baby that out grew her other carriers (she’s 17lbs), so I needed something that would grow with her. This carrier is so easy to use that I didn’t even need to read the instructions. I like that there aren’t a ton of clips that I needed to figure out to use. I also like how soft and lightweight it feels.

Soft and comfy for baby
Taking my daughter out has gotten a lot easier with this baby carrier. It’s made of soft cotton that feels nice against her skin. There are six different ways to carry, but I mostly stick with the front-facing position. She loves it because she can look around and stay curious. The front is sturdy and supports her well. I like the wide shoulder straps too. They help spread the weight so my shoulders don’t feel sore even after walking for a while. There’s even a small pocket to carry her little things, which comes in handy. The only downside is that it’s a bit bulky when not in use, and if it gets messy, cleaning the fabric isn’t super easy.

Contains storage space where some others contain foam
Momtory sells another well-rated hip seat carrier that is just called a 6-in-1 Baby Carrier but this one is a BABY CARRIER PRO with ULTIMATE STORAGE. Either one of them is very, very versatile in terms of the position you could carry a child. To make a long story short, the difference SEEMS to be that this “Pro” one uses a slim plastic rather than bulky foam seat support and is therefore able to offer more storage space, which could be pretty darn useful. This product is also ASTM safety certified and not every carrier can boast that.I don’t have the other (“non-pro”) Momtory baby carrier but I do have a different brand wearable baby carrier with hip seat that I believe is probably similar to Momtory’s “non-pro” carrier insofar as its hip seat is formed out of a big piece of formed Styrofoam, which is removable for being able to wash the fabric components of the carrier (the description of the “non-pro” Momtory carrier does not state that it has a styrofoam-based hip seat but it looks like that is the case, and one customer review mentions they removed the foam got lost when they washed their carrier, and the company graciously sent them a new foam insert for free). This Momtory “Baby Carrier Pro” looks rather similar at first glance but it does NOT have styrofoam in it! It has a specially designed sturdy plastic “chair” piece that supports the baby’s tush at an appropriate up-swept angle to situate him or her against your body and extends smoothly down into the waistband, with a thick padding against the wearer’s belly. What that means is that the interior volume that is devoted to styrofoam in the “non-pro” Baby Carrier is STORAGE SPACE in the Baby Carrier Pro. You could carry a diaper and a compact pack of wipes, and maybe some other items, in the main pouch of the carrier itself, as well as a bottle in an elasticized exterior pocket, and other stuff in a small zipper pouch. That’s not true of many baby carriers.One usability issue I notice is that when carrying the baby in front of you, you’ll need to clip together a clip connecting the two shoulder carry straps in the middle of your back, and for safety’s sake it should not be left unclipped. For many people that won’t be a big deal, but I imagine it could be for some.The Baby Carrier Pro is made of 100% Polyester according to the box, a durable material. The plastic hip seat support is inside a zippered compartment and is removable for when you want to wash the carrier. Unlike some similar baby carriers, the instructions say you can machine wash it cold on the “hand wash” (gentle) cycle AND even tumble it dry on low heat. The instruction manual does tell you to remove the foam inserts from the seat before washing it, but that seems to be a mistake that may have been copied from the manual of their other carrier. The only foam in the sear is non-removable soft padding. With this carrier you should doubtless remove the plastic seat insert before washing, if only so it doesn’t get damaged by the action of your machines.The hip straps and shoulder straps have soft rather than firm padding. I would rather the hip strap at least have firmer type padding around the sides and back because I feel like that is more evenly supportive in situations of longer wear and a heavier child and prevents the straps from curling.If you were wishing for a hip seat style multifunctional baby carrier with at least enough storage for a diaper change, this may be for you.
