We love it!
I got this set up for my son for Christmas, we use it all the time. The only issue is if you tamp the ground coffee to densely, the pressure builds to much and you get an error. Other than that we love it. Looks great and makes a really nice cup of espresso. I don’t think it is too loud, any time you grind beans it will be loud, but the making the espresso is not really loud.

Not the easiest to review. My 4 star rating is based on a few things.Pros:It pulls a nice shot. I havenât had any problems with over extraction or with it struggling on a fine grind.The grinder works well and while itâs not a super high end burr grinder it does a fine job compared to other burr grinders Iâve had. Itâs probably the grinder that makes this set a good value.Cons: the first one I received didnât work correctly. Steaming was non functional. Amazon sent a replacement that works as described. And the milk frother does work well.Machine is very light and while it looks ok, the materials on the outside are mainly plastic. Itâs light but doesnât move around on the counter. You do however need to secure it with one hand when inserting the portafilter.The porta filer is not the best. Itâs pretty light weight and while it does seem to pull a good shot, the basket is a bit annoying. Itâs easily dislodged while banging out the puck. Yes thereâs a dimple to hold it in but somehow it often either moves over to the slot or just pops out anyway. You could definitely upgrade to a better portafilter.We will have to see how it holds up over time. The boilers are always suspect on lesser priced machines. Even on higher priced ones.Overall however itâs a pretty good value. I have a much more expensive and higher quality machine in another location but as far as the quality of the shot goes, thereâs very little difference if at all. So based on that and the included grinder I give it 4 stars.

Avoid Gevi Espresso Machines â A Complete Waste of Money
As a Prime member (Amazon member from 2001) I have never encountered this kind of response from a company. I had no other choice but to write this review. Total disappointment (less than one star)On picture – watered down coffee and the pressure gauge are not working. Two failed espresso machines in a year!—————————————————————————————————-To anyone considering a Gevi espresso machine: donât. Save your money, time, and frustration.I purchased a brand new Gevi espresso machine on February 1, 2024. By November – just nine months later- it had completely failed.Under warranty it was replaced by a same unit that failed just SIX months later. I contacted the company, expecting some kind of support. Instead, I was told that the replacement unit (which they sent under warranty) did not come with its warranty extension. It was simply covered under the remainder of the original one-year warranty.Translation: if their defective product breaks down and they replace it, youâre still out of luck once the original purchase date hits a year. The replacement could fail in two weeks, and they wonât do a thing. Thatâs exactly what happened to me.Gevi stands behind their products just long enough to avoid responsibility. Itâs cheap hardware backed by even cheaper service.Do not buy Gevi. Their machines donât last, and their customer service is crap.

I used to rely on chain coffee shops for my daily quad shot fix, but thanks to this machine, Iâve officially kicked that habitâand my wallet is thanking me.It brews the perfect espresso every time, with rich flavor and just the right amount of crema. Nice little machine
Machine is easy to set up, looks great on the counter, easy to understand instruction manual, and so far excellent espresso. Certainly doesnât have the robustness of a Breville and feels a bit cheaply made in comparison but for the price I think what youâre getting is good.However one of my glass cups did come completely broken despite the bubble wrap.

I purchased this just in time for it to arrive for Mother’s Day and I couldn’t have been happier.I did a lot of research about these machines. In truth, I’m sure that there are better ones out there. However, this one fit my needs, budget and asthetic wants perfectly. It comes with more gadgets and gizmos than I thought I could ever need. It was a total blast to learn everything about how to use them. I never use the single serve portion, but it works great to hold the tamper when it is not in use.It has the strongest bar pressure and came with the burr grinder with all of the grind great adjustments. Everything from fine espresso to french press to drip. Like all burr grinders, you occasionally have to tap the side to get the beans to fall into the grinder, but that is not a deal breaker for me. The beans that I use are pretty dark and oily and I haven’t had that cause any issues with the grinder.It took me a little bit to learn how to make a great espresso. If you’re a current or former barista, this will be a walk in the park. If you’re like me and new to the barista side of the coffee window, it may take a couple of minutes to find your perfect cup. Enjoy experimenting with mochas, lattes, and anything you dare.I highly recommend purchasing this. You won’t regret it!
