Great sub if good stylist not accessible
Got this several years ago, before covid. Despite living in megapolis, i repeatedly experiences bad or not good enough haircuts. Mind you, it was not cheap by any means. American, Polish, Italian hair stylists. Several years of at best average haircuts, and each and every time – something was very off with the fresh cut. Very visible after the first hair wash which i normally do right after stylist or that same evening… One side shorter than the other (many different stylists managed to do this – not intended)…. or whatever else was done and i was always wondering what for am i paying this much? At some point I saw a reference to this product. Bough it on Amazon (though was told that a knockoff could be bought somewhere for fraction of the price). I did not do anything really fancy, but basic things – very much so. General length (i asked another person to help on this – works great), framing (myself), even layers one time (myself as well). Not claiming that this is a substitute for a professional, but at least my sides are always of the same length…. Only half joking here. Until i find someone who does a decent job ( i have middle length, and unfortunately had to resort to ponytail after each and absolutely every other haircut done by the ‘pros’) – this plastic thingy stays in use. Paid full price for a new set and would recommend it sincerely (try the used ones if not willing to pay full, these are plastic, they can be cleaned really easy if needed). Thank you!

Easy Bang Maintenance for Dummies
With tip, I pay about $50 to get my bangs trimmed. My stylist does a great job (and I love someone playing with my hair), but maintaining it every month isnât the best use of my money.Iâve tried trimming my bangs on my own and that was⦠disastrous. However, this clip has been a savior to my hair and wallet! I like the weight of the clip and the level – together they ensure an even cut. I still go to my stylist when I want a professional touch or a full on haircut, but this keeps the visits a bit more spread out.

At first I left a 1 star review of this, but I’m updating my review because I believe it does do exactly what it advertises that it does. I followed a video for a haircut exactly, and it turned out to be misleading, but to be fair the video was not an official Crea clip video. If you want to be sure of what cut you are getting, make sure to watch the official Crea Clip videos. The layers I got were short, and were around the sides of my face, not so much in the back when I flipped my hair upside down and used it. It depends on what you are expecting from this product, but it does do what it advertises, and it does it well, you just need to be absolutely sure you are aware of the cut you are going to get. And cut longer at first, you can always go back and cut more. Just be sure to watch the official Crea Clip videos!!!!

I should have bought this years ago!
I cannot say how much I love this product! It’s pricier than I would have liked, but I can see why now that I have it. I like the design and materials. It’s made of strong plastic and has a sturdy latch at the end. I only fumbled a little bit when I first started using it, but then it was really easy to use. I love that it has the level in the middle so it’s easy to see, but the blue straight guide could be longer. People with thicker hair might have a harder time with it.

It just cuts the front of my hair too short while hardly doing anything to the back.
I’ve been following the instructions, using the curved clip to cut my own hair. According to the instructions, you’re supposed to flip your hair over your head and let it hang down, then put the clip on and use the level to make sure it’s straight. Then you cut along the bottom edge of the clip. The problem is, the curve is too pronounced. If I follow the shape of the curve, it cuts the front too short and leaves the back too long. Then if I try to adjust the back to where I want it, it just makes the front shorter and shorter. So then I’m left trying to get just the longest part in the back into the clip and avoid cutting the front any shorter, which is quite difficult. I don’t want to have to give myself bangs just to get the back of my hair to sit between my shoulder blades. I also don’t want to to use the straight clip and just have a completely straight edge at the bottom of my hair. It’s an interesting idea. If it worked well, it would have paid for itself already.

I was worried after reading the reviews. I have long ringlet curls and my hair is thin. I had no problem with the clips staying in. I watched a few you tube videos on doing 2 layers. It was sooooo easy that I am never going to pay salon prices again! This product it amazing for people that have simple hair cuts!

Ich habe schon so viele Youtube-Videos über den CreaClip gesehen, dachte aber immer dass das Endergebnis mit Sicherheit zu wünschen übrig lässt. Nette Spielerei, aber tatsächlich einen Haarschnitt damit hinbekommen? Niemals. Bei meinem feinen Haar sowieso nicht. Also dachte ich ich bleibe lieber beim Frisör und gebe etwas mehr Geld aus um anschlieÃend auch das gewünschte Ergebnis zu haben.Dann kam es aber anders – meine Haare wurden von einer Frisörin verschnitten woraufhin ich 15cm abschneiden musste um wieder einen normalen Haarschnitt zu haben! Nachdem ich einige Monate später zum Spitzenschneiden ging (natürlich wo anders) kam ich wieder unglücklich nach Hause, die nachgeschnittenen Stufen haben mir nicht gefallen.Also bestellte ich nun doch den CreaClip, ich dachte schlimmer kann es nicht werden, versauen kann man nix mehr und so kann ich die Länge wenigstens selbst bestimmen. Die Lieferung kam schnell, der groÃe Plastikclip hält ganz gut in den Haaren (ich habe sehr feines, glattes Haar) aber ich muss ein bisschen aufpassen dass er nicht verrutscht. Der kleine blaue hingegen hält bombenfest in der Ponypartie.Die Haare wurden wie empfohlen gewaschen, geföhnt und geglättet und es konnte losgehen. Den groÃen Clip habe ich verwendet um das gesamte Haar auf eine Länge zu bringen und die Stufen loszuwerden, Clip wie im Video eingeclipt und nach einmal tief Luft holen von einer zweiten Person ein paar Zentimeter abschneiden lassen. Ich habe mich fast nicht getraut den Clip zu lösen um das Ergebnis zu sehen, aber es war richtig gut. Der Schnitt war nahezu Kerzengerade und die zerschnippelten Stufen waren fast weg. Ich hätte nie gedacht dass es so gut funktioniert und man tatsächlich einen recht ansehnlichen Haarschnitt hinbekommt der nicht selbst geschnitten aussieht. Das Endergebnis ist natürlich nicht völlig perfekt, aber es ist sehr viel besser als davor und mit ein wenig Ãbung klappt das sicher noch besser.Für den Pony verwende ich den kleinen Clip, wirklich sehr zu empfehlen man braucht nicht alle 2 Wochen zum Frisör und es kommt super raus.Ein Frisör findet die Methode vielleicht fragwürdig, aber ich bin endlich wieder zufrieden und kann meine Haare offen lassen.Richtig angewendet bekommt man ein super Endergebnis, und ich finde ihn perfekt um alle paar Monate die Spitzen zu schneiden damit die Haare wieder gesund nachwachsen können ohne die Angst, dass der Frisör einem zuviel abschneidet.Alles in allem kann ich CreaClip für einen einfachen, geraden Schnitt ohne Stufen etc. (habe ich nicht ausprobiert) und einen Pony ganz klar empfehlen!

Five stars for thickness, but I’m not sure what that means ( maybe ” tight”? Anyway, my hair had about 4 inches of damage on it, and it looks and feels much better now! Clip arrived early, even though I panicked when the tracker didn’t move for 10 days, and contacted the seller. They were very kind and patient! Excellent customer service!Using the actual clip- So, first run at it, I took very little off with the layering method (used small clip) it only cut the hair in the front of my face, already to the length I wanted in front( I like it long) so i sectioned off the front of my hair and used the clip again on the back to cut down the length. Then I used the over the shoulder clip and trim to make it u shaped. After the cut was in place, I went over it with thinning shears- (the clip took a lot of weight off, but my hair is stupid thick)I’ve NEVER cut my own hair before, and these tools made it so simple. I wish I could have put the before picture up, but it was giving me problems- picture the hair that comes out of the end of corn! I guess, I would just reiterate what they mention, only start with a little bit, you can always take more off!Thank you Creaclip, I don’t think I’ll be found in a salon for a long time!

Da meine Po-langen, gesunden Haare beim Friseur statt 5 cm um 25 gekürzt wurden und ich tränenüberflutet aus dem Salon ging (ab ist ab) habe ich geschworen, nie wieder einen Friseur-Salon zu betreten. Mein Vertrauen in Friseure ist weg, da es nicht das erste Mal war, das mir das passiert ist. Also habe ich mir Youtube-Videos angeschaut, wie man sich die Haare am Besten selbst schneidet. Dabei bin ich auf den CreaClip gestoÃen. Die Videos haben mich sofort überzeugt, also bestellte ich mit den CreaClip sofort. Mein Gedanke war: Schlimmer kann es nicht werden. Die Lieferung kam schnell.Nachdem meine Haare etwas nachgewachsen waren, traute ich mich selbst Hand anzulegen. Ich ging genau nach der Beschreibung vor. Und das Ergebnis, genau wie ich es wollte. So toll sah ich noch nie nach einem Friseur-Besuch aus. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass es so super funktioniert.Friseure finden diese Art des Haarschnitts vielleicht fragwürdig, immerhin ist man mit dem CreaClip nicht auf sie angewiesen und hat mindestens genauso gute, wenn nicht sogar bessere Ergebnisse. Ich war es jedenfalls leid, immer um meine Traumlänge Angst haben zu müssen und ich denke, das geht vielen so.Richtig angewendet bekommt man tolle Ergebnisse und ich finde ihn perfekt um seine Haare zu Trimmen.
