LOVE this coffee maker — it is easy to use, compact, and makes better coffee than a previous much more expensive one -and the silver is a stylishly fit with my stainless appliances A critical reason I chose this maker is that the hot plate stays on for 2 full hours — double what most coffee makers will do. I also like the compact size– it’s several inches in all directions smaller than similar ones I compared. Other reviews indicate it’s slow, but it doesn’t take any longer than my 5 cup pot (brewed both on medium), and I like that I can set the brew strength. Unlike some folks, I also found it easy to pour water into the reservoir and coffee into my cup. Great value for the cost, ability to adjust brew strength , and programmability. I used a paper filter instead of the permanent one — #4 worked great and only brew only 5 cups most days — tastes great either way.

Great coffee maker for just one person. Nothing special, just a good 6 cup coffee maker. I usually make 4-5 cups each morning. Comes with scoop that helps make a good cup of coffee. DOES NOT SHUT OFF BY ITSELF! Found that out the hard way, but it only took one timeâ¦Lol!!!

Loved my 5 cup Krups coffee maker.
My Keurig, after 5 years, stopped working. In the last 2 months I have purchased 2 more Keurigs (one refurbished, that I didnât realize until after receiving). I had nothing but trouble with both of them. After 3 lonnnng phone calls with Keurigs with no resolution, I threw all 3 in the garbage.I then purchased a small 5 cup Krups drip coffee maker. I am very happy with this product, and considering the cost, was the best deal Iâve had in a long time. My only wish was that it would automatically turn off. My only complaint is that the top will not stay open when filling with water.

Perfect for one person or travel
I love this coffee pot! I just bought my second only because the original one was getting old and dirty. The second one I bought is actually better than the first! This one has a better pouring spout in the carafe and the lid stays up better than the first one did. I live alone and this coffee pot allows me to brew the exact amount of coffee that I drink in one day. I fill two mugs from this one little compact pot. The coffee tastes great from it and it hardly takes up any space on the counter top. It looks great sitting there too! I really love this coffee pot and can not really imagine using any other one after using this one. It is perfect for me. I will say that I do not use the reusable filter that came with it only to make clean-up easier since I do not have a garbage disposal I use the cone filters and I feel they fit in the basket just right.

Good coffee, hard to clean
I purchased this coffee maker based on my experience with an excellent coffee grinder by the same manufacturer. The taste of the coffee and the excellent carafe would earn 5 stars, however, I find the soft touch buttons a little gimmicky which wouldnât affect my rating much if the warming plate wasnât almost impossible to clean. It has a somewhat coarse finish and seams to trap burnt coffee and water scale which transfers to the bottom of the carafe. I clean the coffee maker after each brew but the warming plate still gets a mottled whitish brown and puts a burned coffee ring on the bottom of the carafe. I have to use a baking soda paste to clean it off . If this doesnât bother you the coffee is good and the carafe is as close to dripless as I have found.

Decent Coffee Maker
We got this through the Vine program and spent a good amount of time with it before posting our review here. First item arrived in a damaged internal box. External box was fine, but the inner boxes were crushed a bit. When we unpacked the coffee maker, it had a dent right in the front. So, we exchanged for an undamaged one. Second one arrived in perfect shape.We used this coffee maker for about 2 weeks. We were using a Bunn coffee maker (20 years old, built like a tank, and no frills) and the only reason we considered a new one was for the timer feature. This coffee maker looks nice, but feels like a significantly lesser quality than the Bunn. But, it works well.The good:- Timer function works great.- Strength adjustment (not sure if it’s a gimmick, but it can be adjusted).- Reusable/washable filter basket.- Looks nice.- GREAT customer service by Krupps (explained below).The bad:- Lightweight, made with a lot of plastic.- Reusable filter works OK, but you get very fine grit at the bottom of each cup of coffee.- Easy to overflow (explained below).So, the second unit we got was flawless and we used it for about a week with the reusable filter basket. We noticed a bit of ‘sludge’ or very fine grit at the bottom of each cup of coffee. We decided to try without the reusable filter basket and use a paper filter instead. That’s where we had another (and much bigger issue). Came downstairs about 1/2 hour after the coffee should have been made to hear the coffee maker gurgling and still brewing. That seemed odd, so when I went and checked on it, I noticed that there was very little coffee in the carafe. The filter basket had been lifted up so that the plunger to release the coffee was NOT depressed. The carafe should push the plunger in the bottom of the filter basket. In this case, the whole basket lifted up and therefore was not letting brewed coffee flow out the bottom into the carafe. Instead, the filter basket overflowed and spilled partially brewed coffee and grounds all over the counter and back down into the reservoir! So, it was constantly sending partially brewed coffee back up to the overflowing basket and back down into the reservoir.I examined the coffee maker and the basket has a raised tab on it. I assumed that the lid should contact that tab to hold the basket down. The lid is curved or warped, so there was a 1/4″ – 1/” gap between the underside of the lid and the tab on the filter. I called Krups and they were VERY helpful. They sent a return label and I mailed the coffee maker back to them. They tested it and could not get the problem to happen again. They said the gap between the lid and the tab on the filter basket is supposed to be there. The returned the coffee maker and followed up with a call and explanation of what was tested. We agreed that it must have been a fluke. I still wonder why they put a raised tab on the filter basket if it’s NOT supposed to be held down by the lid, but it is what it is. The only thing I can think is the time it overflowed, maybe the filter with the grounds was not all the way down into the notch causing the carafe to NOT depress the plunger. It has worked fine since.Top notch customer service, nice coffee maker. Could use some improvement, but overall works good.

This coffee maker makes excellent coffee!! Had no issues pouring water into reservoir. Some reviews indicated this as being a problem although the water pours into the reservoir with ease! Used the recommended amount of coffee and it was perfect for us! It does brew a little slower than your average coffee maker although there is a reason for this. Depending on which strength of coffee you choose this will vary. It’s obvious that a little more time brews a much better cup of coffee. We have tried multiple coffee makers and always ended up with coffee that was subpar. I would highly recommend this coffee machine!!!

The Krups coffee maker is perfect for myself as I like to make coffee and take it on the go. I also find it very good to use at home as the coffee in the mug is kept at a perfect coffee temperature. I do not require a coffee maker unit that is large. The unit functions very well, there isn’t water leakage and the taste is excellent. The size of the mug is just right for carrying when I go for my walks or to my destination.

I have purchased this small little coffee maker back in 2020 during the pandemic and I’m still using it 4 years later! It functions perfectly, it has never broken down, extremely easy to clean and no hassle! I have been meaning to post a review for so many years now, but I had forgotten to do it until recently.If you are looking for a small coffee maker that doesn’t take too much counter space, looks stylish with silver accent, comes with a re-usable filter, makes quick coffee and is easy to clean, you must purchase this one. You don’t even need to think about whether to buy it, it is cheap and will last you years! For the price range, this is definitely a steal.I have attached a photo where it shows how small the coffee maker actually is in comparison to a ninja blender and a coffee mug from Ikea. I have been enjoying this coffee maker and I hope others can do the same. I wanted to mention that this is ideal for one person, mainly if you need a couple of cups on a daily basis. For the size, quality of coffee it makes, functionality and aesthetics, I rate this 5/5!

This product is 110V and has what looks like a US plug on it. It is not suitable for use in the UK. The product is listed on Amazon.co.uk. As it was an electrical product listed on the Amazon UK site i stupidly assumed it would work in the UK. I am now 3 conversations deep with Amazon customer support. There is no issue returning it, however the returns label is to a destination in Kentucky in the US. Given that i am in Edinburgh, I did contact Amazon to ask if that was the most efficient way to return the item. I’m still in the chat – explaining. What ? – the product ? – that looks fine – we spent a long time searching for machines before finally settling on this one. What idiots we were to check it wasn’t going to be listed with a US plug on an UK website.
