Okay, so I got the new Amazon Echo Spot, and I’m pretty happy with it! It’s the perfect size for so many places. I’ve got mine on my nightstand, and it’s great. It doesn’t take up a ton of space, which is awesome. But I can totally see it working well in an office or even the kitchen.The main thing is, it’s a really good smart alarm clock. The display is clear, and I love that I can just ask Alexa to set an alarm. No more fumbling with tiny buttons in the dark! And of course, it does way more than just alarms.Alexa is super helpful, as always. I can ask about the weather, control my smart home devices, and even listen to music. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small device. It’s clear, and it can get pretty loud if you want it to.Overall, I’d say if you’re looking for a smart device that’s compact, versatile, and has a good display, the new Echo Spot is definitely worth checking out. It’s a solid upgrade, and I’m finding it really useful in my daily life.

I am writing this review because I am so extremely happy with the Echo Spot. I needed a new echo, but the 5th generation of Echo Dot with a clock, is not available at Amazon. So I ordered an echo spot in blue. It is so very pretty and has so many different displays of the clock. It was a was a great price. It has numerous capabilities. I put a number of reminders in for medications, when to feed my cats, weekly reminders on a certain day and at a certain time. I was really lost without the clock and Iâm glad I could find something that fit my needs. I really love the Amazon Echo products and Iâm learning to love the Echo Spot with itâs clock. Ditch The Show * Get The Spot
Finally, an Echo to Love… All I ever wanted was a clock, that could do the routines I have set up, and play music.. this is it!!!! replaced two echo shows with two Echo Spots.. could not stand the Sponsered ads that kept showing up on the show, even though I had both set on full time night mode.. ditch the show, and get the Spot.. the sound is incredible from this little thing.. on par with my Bose Bluetooth Speakers, which I unpaired to just use the built in speaker with the Spot.. on the plus side it also will show my doorbell cameras on my TV screen by voice command.. the show did not do that

Finally an Echo & alarm clock combined!
I previously had a ’90s clock radio and an Echo Dot in my bedroom. But after seeing the Echo Spot, I decided this was all I really needed on my nightstand and gave it a shot.It has a very slick modern look, is super easy to set up, and has several clock face, color, and other setting options. Definitely better than the bright red digital numbers on my dated old alarm clock. And as far as interaction with Alexa, the Spot works just as well as any other Echo device that Iâve owned.My only complaints are:ONE – The (lack of) sound quality. The 3rd gen Echo Dot that I moved from my bedroom to my kitchen honestly has fuller sound and is better for listening to music. Since I often listen to music while spending time in my bedroom, Iâm pretty disappointed.TWO – No LED light ring of any kind. The only way to know Alexa is âlisteningâ or whether you have a notification is if you’re looking at the screen head-on. Since I’m not directly in front of it while moving around my bedroom during the day, a small LED indicator along the top similar to the Echo Pop wouldâve been nice.

I love my alexa, Always telling her to turn my lights on and offð It connects really easily and the process of setting it up is fast, Its fallen off my vanity SO many times and it has not cracked at all so iâd say itâs pretty durable i got it on sale during black friday deals so i got it on a good deal, I will say you definitely need to speak LOUD just to get it to hear you because sometimes it wonât even respond but overall pretty good and worth it.

What was I waiting for! I canât believe how much I love this Alexa!! I can play all kinds of music for my alarm which I highly appreciate because my Apple phone will not remember my alarm song choice and always awakens me with a blaring scary dinging noise! It startled me when it wakes me up, but Alexa wakes me up with whatever gentle music I choose! Itâs the perfect size for a nightstand and the clock brightness dims at night so youâre not struggling with the clock light in your face all night long. I absolutely love this because I can play music while I am tidying up my room or while Iâm in my shower I can control the volume level, etc. I really wish I wouldâve bought one of these years ago. I canât believe how much I am enjoying it. I am going to buy one for every room in my house.

Best of the echo devices
I have two echo dots and one echo Pop. Then saw the Echo spot on sale and decided to get it for the display. It is so much better than the dots and Pop that it essentially turned them into a Bluetooth speaker. Wished I would have bought the spot first. Just being able to see the timer or alarm on the screen is worth the extra money. The are same basically as the others but having the display of time, temperature and other functions are definitely what I was looking for. Controls all my lights, smart plugs and useful on many questions. Temperature inside as well as outside. Limited knowledge on some subjects and very exceptional on others but usually can answer 99% of my questions to an acceptable answer. Replaced my old alarm clock radio and can set more than one alarm at a time. Never have to get up to turn on lights. Only drawback is having to learn to rephrase some questions to get an answer but how much lazier can I get with a device like this. Hands free completely!

You can have it configured by Amazon before it arrives at your home, but it’s also easily configured manually if you wish to tweak it a bit. I love it!UPDATE: I have read many of the reviews and i have never experienced the issues reported. it displays the correct time, answers my Alexis questions, plays music as requested, maintains the settings for the display, and adds entries to my lists as instructed. (I have the “snooze” feature deactivated, so I can’t address those issues relating to it. )

El modelo en sÃ, es muy vistoso, tiene acabados muy elegantes y de buen material, el sonido tiene una diferencia de 3 decibeles más en comparación con el echo dot 5ta., realmente no es mucha la diferencia, sin embargo se alcanzan a apreciar un poco más los bajos.La pantalla touch definitivamente le aporta mucho, se puede cambiar la apariencia del reloj, los niveles de brillo y control de música.El tamaño es un 30% más grande que el echo dot 5ta., supongo que es para compensar la ubicación de la bocina, debido al tamaño de la misma.El voltaje de uso en promedio es de 2.5 watts con brillo máximo…ya en modo música vol. 10, alcanza un promedio de 3.6 watts, lo cual ahorra bastante energÃa para la potencia que mantiene!El modo nocturno es conveniente si te molesta la luz de la pantalla por las noches, la pequeña desventaja es que esta no se puede apagar en su totalidad, pero realmente no es molesto, ya que la pantalla tiene tecnologÃa de ahorro y baja luz.(Actualización, ya incluyeron el apagado de la pantalla, se agradece muchÃsimo)El mostrar las carátulas de las canciones es bastante bueno, sin embargo: no me agradó, que al reproducir música, las carátulas de las canciones se mantienen todo el tiempo.Solución: le tienes que dar la indicación: “Alexa, inicio” para que nuevamente muestre el reloj.Por lo que, si de alguna forma te interesa escuchar música y ver tu reloj al mismo tiempo desde una distancia de más de 2 mts. I bought this clock for my bedside table and itâs perfect. Itâs simplistic design with core Alexa features make this ideal for any room. I have been looking for a clock that would have a dim option for during those late/early hours so that the clock wouldnât glow at night and this one is great. I set a time frame that I want to put my clock on sleep mode and the time changes to a dim red (so easy on the eyes if I wake up in the night). I also like that you can personalize the clock face (i.e. colours, weather, etc) to whatever suits your style. The speakers are also on par with other Alexa devices (clear, good treble/bass). I donât have anything negative to say at this point. I did have a bit more trouble getting it set up, there were some pairing issues with the app but it eventually worked. Overall, I would buy this again for other bedrooms in my house.

El diseño de este ultimo echo (spot) es increible, yo lo compre en blanco por el contraste del negro de la pantalla, pero estoy seguro que en los demás colores de igual manera se verá muy bonito.Hablando de funcionalidades:- Básicamente funciona de igual manera que cualquer otro echo/alexa, aunque puede variar una que otra cosa debido a la nueva pantalla integrada.- Las animaciones que se muestran en diferentes ocasiones (al pasar un minuto en el rejol, al poner musica, al crear una alarma, etc., etc.) son muy bonitas, puedes personalizar tanto el reloj con diferentes diseños (que probablemente con el tiempo se agreguen más) y con diferentes colores (magenta, violeta, verde aqua, azul, naranja y lima).- La pantalla es táctil/touch y por esto, puedes acceder a configuraciones rapidas dentro del mismo Echo Spot (para una configuración mas detallada, abre la app de Alexa), ya sea, cambiar el color y diseño del reloj, regular el brillo de la pantalla, bajar/subir volumen, etc., etc.Puntos malos:- El Echo llegó en una bolsa de carton con burbujas (al menos a mi y a varios más) siento que al ser un dispositivo electrónico, deberÃa llegar al menos en una caja de cartón con mucha más protección- La pantalla no es un circulo como se podrÃa pensar, es un rectangulo en el centro de toda la parte negra. Cuando está el brillo alto o al máximo, se notan los bordes de esta. De lo contrario, en espacios obscuros/no tan iluminados, no se nota para nada.Conclusión:Por el precio que esta en este momento a miembros Prime, es una excelente opción. Como se aprecia en las fotos, se nota mas grande que una Alexa con reloj (olvidé el nombre) pero no es tanto como para estorbar, el tamaño es ideal. valió mucho la pena por el simple hecho de ser mucho mas elegante, con mas funcionalidades y obviamente, mas nueva y actualizada.Seguramente con el tiempo se agreguen funcionalidades para facilitar muchas mas tareas. Compra esta Alexa si quieres tener un reloj digital, una bocina de buen sonido y volúmen y obviamente, una asistente para tus tareas :)))Gracias por llegar hasta aqui y espero haber aclarado la mayoria de dudas :))

Excelente producto, lo compré para poder ver la hora durante la noche y luego le saco plática cuando tengo dudas del clima y otras cosas… no soy fan de tener casa “inteligente” pero me dicen que puedes controlar todo con este aparatito… para mi es útil para escuchar las noticias, resolver dudas o poner música… gran equipo, muy recomendable
